Welcome to Opening Day, ESPN The Ocho here, with Dan Dipsy and Mike Macky reporting for Speculation about today's Games.

The Grass is clipped, and Hot Dogs are on the grill, and where there isn't Grass the Sand has been raked... Leading into the analysis.

Hounds of Anubis vs. Algeria Tigers
In the first showing for a previous Pro team, the Hounds tries to throw off old woes. They will try to flex there Run Offense, but Algeria's Defense will squash this. While Algeria's depth and a strong run game will take the day by a slight victory.
Hounds of Anubis 10 - Algeria Tigers 17

Tripoli Leathernecks vs. Congo Horror
Congo Horror is looking to use the Leahternecks to start there WIN Streaks. Having one of the highest paid teams and the Highest Overall (42) in the Conference the Horror is using this to Accelerate there Passing Game. Showing why they were promoted, the Horror takes there home opener. The Leathernecks will put up a fight but come up short.
Tripoli Leathernecks 14 - Congo Horror 21

Sahara Sandstorm vs. Monterey Magic
A strong Passing threat for the Magic will give them the upper hand in this battle. This will be a good fight as the Sandstorm also boast some of the best players in the league, but Monterey will find the Magic and pull out the WIN.
Sahara Sandstorm 21 - Monterey Magic 24

West Virginia MountainMen vs. Zimbabwe Mighty Zulu Nation
This will be the GAME of the WEEK. Very tough to call, two good teams going up against each other. Both with a solid O-Line to help with the Run Game and Protect for the Passing Game. The MoutainMen might have to prove something, though I don't know what. It will not be enough to put out Zulu Nation as they get the W with a strong Run Game.
West Virginia MountainMen 7 - Zimbabwe Mighty Zulu Nation 14

Darfur Demon Hunters vs. TORO'S TEXANS
Under new ownership and after a lot of changes on the roster, the Demon Hunters will have to prove they have what it takes to compete in the Africa AAA level. While the Texans are dealing with the fact of being from Texas this will distract them and Demon Hunters will get first blood shedding any sort of Virus with a Great Passing Game.
Darfur Demon Hunters 21 - TORO'S TEXANS 14

Bayside Tigers vs. Salty Shellback
Tigers having left the old scene behind them emerge from the dust cloud with... enough players but little talent, having the lowest Avg Level in the league but boasting the lowest Salary for the payroll. The Shellbacks will use this first home game to validate a high price roster with lots of FA acquisitions. The Shellbacks will let loose any Piranhas to Devour the Tigers with a WIN on the back of there passing game.
Bayside Tigers 10 - Salty Shellback 21

Morningside Candysnatcher vs. Burundi Broncs
The Long Off Season over the Broncs will dust off the Morning aches by taking it to the Candysnatchers. With the pool of talent for Morningside being low the Broncs O-Line will take care of the rushing game, and even if they only get close the Kicker will put it through. Broncs come out with a WIN to start the season.
Morningside Candysnatcher 3 - Burundi Broncs 12

The Last Gunfighters of Texas vs. Charlie Don't Surf
While the prescence of another Texas team makes everyone a little uncomfortable, the Gunfighters have brought some talent with them. A battle for the ages as Charlie Don't Surf has shown that talent on paper does not mean a Victory on the field. Having a slight edge in Defense CDS will hold the Gunfighters down, while they slip in for a few scores. A Tight game but CDS pulls it out, there motivation - Ability to talk a large game among owners.
The Last Gunfighters of Texas 10 - Charlie Don't Surf 14

And from ESPN The Ocho, Mike and Dan reporting... 8

Thanks for taking the time to do this, Vic.

I think Tipoli vs Congo is actually a better GOW.

WVM is going to put it to Zulu and it won't be close.

Get to de choppas!

You are completely right, I just looked and the headings say it in plain print, which i didn't read. All of the references to the stadiums or crowd are wrong. Lesson Learned, I am sorry.

Edited: original post edited taking out references to stadiums or home field.

Some were wrong, but what the heck... You'll get the hang of it when game 5 or something. Some of these were surprises, especially CDS to me!
