Maxwell was huge in the tripoli win over Marawko. When you get 5 sacks in a single game you tend to recieve all eyes on you. Great preformance out of Tanner and all of Tripoli in this one!

Seattle NEThawks vs. Cairo Centurians

The NEThawks defended their home turf in great fashion pulling off a W vs a tough Cairo team. This places the NEThawks as the team to beat going into this season. Their Defense played well and the offense worked together to pull off a tough win against Cairo. Good job NEThawks!

Tanner Maxwell had a monster game. He picked on that same OT all game. Jimbo CovertIII is going to have nightmares about him!

I am extremely proud of both my players and my coaches game planning.

The only thing worse than team names that have nothing to do with the region they are in, is teams that do that and use Seattle in the name. God I miss kickin your ass in the AFC West

The NEThawks are in the way of my plans for the Terror having a hot start. Im all for a good test for my team but I was not wanting this test this early! haha Really glad to see the Terror having a few guys up there for the week's top players. I would kinda argue though that my QB was more effective just handing it off this game. Thanks for taking notice of our team though LTD. Cant say thanks enough for what you do every day we have a game.

Good win for my Iowa squad. We made a lot of mistakes that we plan on correcting, but overall I think we played well and I think Kerry and Blaine both earned well deserved players of the week honors!
