Well I am not normally known as a prognosticator but I will give my Season 4 predictions. These are based on current rosters and levels and have not taken into account any boosting or transactions that I am unable to see. I also reviewed preseason games (matchups and success) but understand many of these games were to tweak game bugs and get AI information so not always reliable. I will list the teams in tiers and rank from 1 to 16. Here we go:

***Tier 1***

1. Quebec Colored Trombones
2. Antwerp Jewish Diamond Dealers
3. Amsterdam Smugglers

This tier is still the class of Western Europe A#7 - Zeta. Until other teams show they can compete with this group it is a battle for 4th through 8th for playoff spots.

***Tier 2***

4. Valencia Bats
5. Hamburg Parrots
6. Vienna Blood Sausages
7. Vatican City Angels
8. Cardiff Cobra's

This tier is the up and coming teams in the conference. Any of these teams are capable of entering Tier 1 but are not ready for one reason or another. This is a very competitive group and all games should be close and exciting.

***Tier 3***

9. Newcastle Nightmare
10. Coventry Thunder
11. Konoha Hokages
12. Malmo Dawgs

This is the first tier that will miss the playoffs. These teams will battle all season long and for one reason or another will come up short. All of these teams are capable of making big surprises during season including key upsets that could promote one of them into Tier 2.

***Tier 4***

13. Barcelona Blaze
14. Dresden Bombers
15. Instanbul Three Headed Pygmy Dragon

This group of teams are all improving but still missing key components from making the big jump into the playoff hunt. Instanbul and Dresden are greatly improved but still lack depth or key starters to make any real push. Barcelona is the new Zeta team and may suprise some teams but from the looks of their roster there is a reason they were demoted to A conference from AA, however they can begin the ascend by possibly jumping to the bottom of Tier 3 with key victories.

***Tier 5***

16. Berlin Slaughterhouse

Not trying to put any team down, but it appears this team is rebuilding or slow building. Either way, as their team looks right now, I do not expect them to compete.

Please feel free to comment and discuss these rankings. I want to also use this time to officially say goodluck to everybody in Western Europe A#7 - Zeta and may all our games be fun and exciting and may the best team take down the Alpha champ!

Actually I almost listed the Blaze at 12 and Malmo at 13. I definately could see key victories against a team in Tier 3 and maybe an upset of a team in Tier 2. If all the above happens could end up in the top 10 but still looking up at the playoff teams.

we're a completely different team than from where we were last year. JMD is the new owner of the blaze and short of a handful of veterans, we've rebuilt the entire roster from scratch (it was a buttload of work). We weren't even called the blaze until the end of season 3.

It was really too late to salvage any sort of win last season, as our team wasn't completely fleshed out until the offseason. Now we're a new team in a new conference and I'd have to say its not what I expected.

According to Bort's "Average Level List," I thought everyone was around level 11, maybe level 14-16 at the most.

But now that we're here, I see that is incredibly savage and that some of the teams here could probably give some of the AA teams a run for their money.

Its also a little funny how the Owner's avatar is an "H", and the GM's avatar is an "L"

Actually from top to 'almost' bottom excluding Berlin the teams in Western Europe A#7 are some of the toughest teams around in ALL of A leagues and would compete in 'most' AA leagues. The teams in both Alpha and Zeta have 'challenged' each other indirectly with their talent so everyone has continued to 'up the efforts' at gaining recruits and maximize player development left over from season 3. This league is really fun and win or lose the owners, GM's, and players in both Alpha and Zeta are good guys with lots of smack talk, respect, and overwhelming since of compitition and pride. Good job getting things resolved with your team and best of luck for you in all matchups except against us

So what in the hell does the 'L' and 'H' stand for anyways?

I'll give it right back to you guys. Nice game all around, and I hope that as hard as we worked this offseason I want this to be a sign of things to come.

With Instanbul playing the "dummy team" (best way I can say it) ine the week of their blowout I would have said that you were way off, but the win against a solid Valencia team does show they have made strides to make your predictions look good. I'm personally hoping to see them eat a piece of humble pie tomorrow, but overall it really is very early,a nd it'll be interesting to see where this all sets come the end of the season.
