2 big games to watch this week, folks.
The first matchup is the Lost City Idols taking on the Winona Warriors. The second is the Forbidden City Firestorm taking on the Oklahoma Steelers.

Arguably the top 4 teams in alpha doing battle early on in the season. Should be fun to watch.

Do to our chemistry(Oklahoma Steelers) I do not think it will be as close as it should be. Good luck Forbidden.

I did check that out. Rough time to catch a good opponent like that.

Yes I agree but even if we lose to them we have a good shot at being in the top 4.

The thing is, I figure it is going to take you guys at least half to 3/4 of the season to get your overall chemistry back up to a decent level, meanwhile you will be playing some teams that are evenly matched with you, the chemistry penalty will kick in and if the team you're playing has decently built players then that will be enough to knock you off. So while you have improved your team roster wise, you've done so while putting your team in handcuffs.

I'm interested to see how this effects everything, and am rooting for you.

So am I
I'd like both underdogs to win this week. But who knows. They game has seemed to change so much you can't really tell what's going to happen.

chemistry really doesn't effect the game, last season in another league, two teams with about the same levels of players, one with chem in the 20s the other with it in the 80s. The 80 chemistry team lost that game. So its not the final say in a game.

I've always felt the same way about chemistry, don't feel like it is has a HUGE impact, people just think it matters because the better run teams are normally better teams and have better chemistry.

right, even bort said it will have at MOST a 7-10 percent effect in the game.

yup totally agreed on the chemistry thing. It is not as big of a factor as many think it is, which actually kinda sucks in my opinion. I just think bort should tweak at it a little more, so the teams that have great chemistry actually gets more benefits from it.

I think you are all way undervaluing the effect chemistry has on in game performance.

I'm not undervaluing it, just listening to Bort.

WTF, a 10% hit on a team that is 9% better than its foe = a loss. That's a HIT no matter how you want to spin it. It sure as shit doesnt make you better to have a jacked up chemistry.

i think Bort was referring to a game where one team had like 80+ chem and another had like 20.....he said at MOST it effects it 10%, meaning it could effect the game much less.

So far the hit looks substantial enough to cause a really good team to give 21 points up to a complete shit team.

Take that however you will.
