Well, the first pre-season game is Sunday. I don't even care that its pre-season, I just want to see some football.

College teams are reporting for camp. Pro football is starting. Man I love this time of the year. September is better but at least we get a little bit of something now.

I got chills about that line. You left out fantasy football, though.

Brennan is probably going to be one of those guys who people say "where did this guy come from". The truth is, look at Big Ben. He didn't lose a game for almost 3 seasons in college, so it's no surprise that he found a way to get it done his rookie year. True its a big jump to the pros, but some guys just know how to play football, and always find a way to get it done. I think that he will start for a team one day, but never be a Pro-bowl player. I put him about the level of a Jeff Garcia in a few years.

I just hope the 'Skins stick with Campbell. I really think he will develop into something good this season.

Fun side note: Former Maryland quarterback Sam Hollenbach also signed with the Redskins this year, he used to play QB at my high school when I was a freshman/sophomore there. It's cool to see him make it to the pros with my favorite team.

Colt Brennan did look very sharp from what I saw of him. I didn't get to see Malcolm Kelly in action, how did he fare?

Brennan is to small in my opinion. All of the Skin's qbs were tearing it up last night so it leads me to believe the Colt's back ups at secondary just suck.

Really, a backup QB in the pre-season, either has an advantage, or he doesn't. Many pre-season players have gotten real time on the field, whether it was b/c of injuries or the defensive packages, all that good junk. Most 3rd string QBs, and even some second string have never seen a regular season play. So I will give Brennan a good job pat on the back, but he is far from ready. Like I said, I think he will be a starting QB, but maybe the journeyman type. Who knows though, I hate Tom Brady, but look where he was drafted.
