Its the dawn of a new season in Africa AA#3 and CDN caught up with one of the leagues most enigmatic WRs Cliffjumper on the last day of his well deserved vacation in Carbombya Africa. We got a chance to sit down with the hyper active cybertronian and disscuss everything from the offseason, new season to this weeks matchup with the Darfur tyrants.
CDN Thanks for taking the time to talk to CDN Cliffjumper.
CJ Hey you know what? No problem. You guys do a good job keeping the masses aware of the greatness of..well me. And you can call me CJ.
CDN OK CJ, lets talk about last season. CWN had kind of a rough year. Why is that.
CJ Basicly when we first got to Earth last year, we had to get to know the environment it took a lot to adjusting. Infact we still are. Your gravity on this planet sucks. Do you realize how hard it is for half ton robots to manuver here. It aint easy.
CDN On the CWM team you were one of the highlights but you seemed to fade a bit at the end.
CJ This is the first time I spoke about this in public, but after we crashed into the side of that mountain I was excited to be here. Its a beatiful place, but after a while I began to miss Cybertron. I got homesick and it brought my morale way down. I spent the summer in Kamalaya at a theraputic resort. Those folks helped me heal my mind and I am ready to go. If you are ever in Kamalay you should really check those guys out. http://www.kamalaya.com/samui-cleansing-resort.htm Those guys and gals are responsible for getting my mind right, this will allow me to destroy opposing dbs all year.
CDNHmm ok, thats interesting. back to football. CWM has made some changes this season would you care to enlighten us?
CJ Well, Megatron is a good QB, but his arm was getting tired, you know its hard work throwing the rock deep to me all day, so we brought in Optimus Prime. The guy is a natural baller and a great leader, he does have the matrix of leadership after all. So I figure with a health rotation of both those guys I should have a sensational year.
CDN Any other moves?
CJ Oh there were plenty. We brought in Unicron. It was a ton of work to get his head back on the body, but he is ready to engulf some NTs around AA#3. Do you realize this guy can eat an entire planet? We got a couple of TEs too, but I dont know why. I am going to be open so much those dudes should never catch a pass.
CDN What about the defense? Any thing going on there?
CJ I am glad I am not a QB or a RB in this league, who doggy we brought some beef this year. I mean we got Huffer, Omega Supreme, and the other guys are growing so fast. You better Not sleep on Vector Prime either. That dude may be about as old as the universe, but we lubed his cogs and he is ready to do battle. This Defense is ready to serve its purpose.
CDN Its purpose?
CJ To get the ball back so I can score touchdowns.
CDN Well it sounds like CWM has had an eventfull offseason. What do you think about this coming year.
CJ Well, we should definately be better than last year, but we have to conserve our energy a little early on. I think by the end of the year when we get our fresh shipment of energon we will be one of the best teams around.
CDN How do you see the season playing out for CWM?
CJ You know Optimus told me to bite my sensors, so I will just say we will see. I know we have a shot in most games. More than a shot if they would just give me the damn ball.
