West Projections!

Houston Orangebloods

Offense: Nasty, Filthy, Disgusting, in a good way. Dean Cochran returns for his 4th season with the OrangeBloods. And you can expect nothing but the same. Coming off a 3792 yard 25 TD season, secondarys around the league can already be heard crying. Chris Whaley also returns coming off a strong season, his O-Line wants to give even better holes to explode out of this season. The three headed attack of
Fast White Boy, Limas Speed, Mercury Morris return ready to pick up ridiculous yards in the air yet again.

Defense: Jake Rock returns ready to grind all but the best rushing attacks to a halt. Giving up a insane 6 points per game last season you can forget anything else than a slugfest in the trenches and you had better hope you don’t give up any turnovers. Mikkel Mørk locks down the entire right side of the field, his closing speed is nasty. Roy Willy Will Die is some one who will make every QB in the league think twice about throwing at.

Projection: You can count on two things from Houston, they will get a home seed and they will make it look very, very easy.

Caribbean Sphere

Offense: Iowa Jones, a crushing 70 yard short of 2,000 yard season, oh and he also had 19 Touchdowns. Of course backing him up as always is Grezbor Quam who stole 800 yards and 17 TDs away from Iowa. You can expect more of the same from this run first team. They will tire you out with long drives and then cover the last 40 yards of the field in a blink of an eye. Got to mention Tom Foolery also, 63 field goals alone last season, he is the best kicker in the A #1.

Defense: This unit struggled last season with high powered passing attacks. The secondary seems unable to correct the holes in the zone coverage and has a problem staying in focus and not getting beat deep. Everything that’s wrong about the secondary you can turn on its head for the D-Line who enjoys dominating any team they play.

Projection: Expect a home seed here possibly playing the roughnecks for it late in the season.

Dallas Horns

Offense: Knocking off Houston in the playoffs last season is just what this unit needed. They are ready to prove themselves again with more great play from Mister Clean, 3337 yards and 14 TDs. Gengr Flash is also back coming off a 1400 yard 27 TD season. This is a well balanced team and they know how ton get points on the big board.

Defense: Sticky Wang is back, and he wants more gold. He boosting a insane 105 Tackle 38 Sack season. The pure pressure he puts on the QB is a game plan changer. You can’t expect a lot of time in the pocket with 250lbs of roided out rage kicking you in the face. Puffy Wang is ready to lead the rest of the defense and to clean up any scraps Sticky leaves on the table.

Projection: Contender for a Home seed and could beat anyone in the league at any time.

Texas Roughnecks

Offense: The big news here is the move by Dan Parino from Stonecutters and the addition from the BBB #7 Earl "The Tyler Rose" Campbell. Not that the Roughnecks needed help on offense they accomplished a lot last season on this side of the ball. What remains to be seen is how these players will fit into the system. If anything can be a worry it’s a slight lack of depth at WR.

Defense: Angus Howlett leads the D-Line into what needs to be a big season. Stoping the run early and hard needs to be done a lot sooner due to the broad strokes the West offenses are using. Crash Thurman and Charles Jefferson are ready to stop cold any sort of an outside run have very impressive seasons in season 3. It does no get any easier in the backfield, the secondary is as good as any the league and they know and enjoy creating turn overs.

Projection: These guys will settle for nothing less than a home seed and they will fight tooth and claw for it.

Rockford Wrecking Crew

Offense: Well something went wrong. Rockford joint he West from the AAA #1 where they went 1-15. Blytz Kreeg somehow still has hold on the starting spot behind center despite a 28 INT season. Jason Aldean joined the team halfway through season 3 and was unable to make any form of impact he will need to step up his game for sure. They will have zero success unless they correct the massive holes in the O-Line.

Defense: A rag tag group of a wide array of experience is never a good sign. These guys are still learning to play with each other and you can expect a lot of rough games out of the gate. Stan Mo is a gem on this team making all the plays the other ten guys can’t manage to make, he will have a strong season, but the team is not looking so good.

Projection: Could very easily drop from the A #1 this season, until they pick up some FAs and make some personal changes you can expect a free fall.

Allen Zephyrs

Offense: They have work to do. Doc Jenkins has got to get his eyes check after throwing to the wrong color jersey…29 times. Unforgivable. Now all is not lost they have a very strong base and some good depth. If they can get some good performance from the O-line they should be able to move the ball a little and try and get on the score board early in games. CA Dupin is going to need a 1200+ yard season unless they want to skip the playoffs.

Defense: Secondary looks excellent, LB core not so much. D-Line looks ok but they have underperformed every season so far. They have got to shut down the mid range passing game or they will never get off the field on third down. They already have trouble on third and short but when you give up third and 5 time and time again its not a good sign.

Projection: They will more than likey miss the playoffs by a couple games, unless they can find so FAs to fill a couple gaps.

North Carolina State

Offense: They started last season 0-8, and looking at the schedule that might not change this season. Billy Badazz was only able to find his receivers for 3 TDs all of last season. He was also sacked 38 times. That sort of play from the O-Line is almost funny. Kid Rock had a 800 yard season, not enough to set up any long drives and he was unable to get the clutch yards when they really needed them.

Defense: The good news, Nitsud Skraps is still here. He was a rock last season and shut down a lot of outside runs. 'D' Stroid will need to find the gaps like he was last season for those quick back field tackles. The secondary plays like Dr. Jackal and Mr. Hyde, seemly shutting teams down then giving up a random massive play.

Projection: They will be fighting for a late run at the 8th seed if they can pick up a close game or two, or it can go the other way and they can finish on the relegation bubble.

Omaha Mavericks

Offense: Randall McNair has been called up from…South America? An odd pick up considering he is coming off a 1 TD 17 INT season. Platz Koenigs is back, 90 yards short of his first 1k yard season he is at least hungry for it. They lost some key depth players and it will be interesting to see how they hold up over the course of the season.

Defense: Solid as ever, saving grace for the Mavs. They do give up point from time to time but for the most part they can slow down any offense in the league. Da Mayan enjoyed smacking passing by running backs in the face last season picking up over 40 tackles. Linneus Straight is a clear player taking on the whole left side and locking it down. The secondary looks a bit stretched for depth but that seems common for most teams right now.

Projection: They won’t be dropping from the league, but they also will not be winning any championships, or many games, or individual trophies…really not much of anything.

Austin Powers

Offense: Gutted

Defense: Gutted

Projection: Gutted

Austin Longhorns

Offense: These guys are for real this season. Chet McLawson should have his interception ‘thing’ under control. Jimmy Turner is back and better than ever and looked great in the preseason games. James Robinson has been dragged from the Oceania Pro to give them some bite in the rushing games. O-line looks solid, you would be hard pressed to find something wrong with this unit.

Defense: D-Line looks a bit shaky and they played like it last season. I do think they have what it takes to slow down the big four but I am not sure they can slow them enough. Aaron Smithhh was the only guy on the front four who stepped up last season and even then it was a small step. For the wrongs with the D-Line to goodness of the LB core. Tackling Dummy has been getting it done every game for a long time now and that won’t change.

Projection: These guys will be in the playoffs and they will be capable of beating any of the top 4.

San Francisco Stonecutters

Offense: Gutted

Defense: Gutted

Projection: Gutted

Texas Tornado

Offense: Tornado comes out after a lack luster first season in the former CCC. They ned to step it up across the board if they want anything out of this season. Jason Ashton can’t throw 30 25+ INT and get sacked 35+ times. Mike Turner takes over the starting spot but his previous results were nothing to write home about.

Defense: Right now it looks spotty at best. A lot of Depth missing and a lot of backups forced to starting roles. Randy "the Pain" Couture will need to take control of the D-Line and control the tempo in the trenches. Douggie Heffernan is the only real playmaker they have he moves all over the field making literally hundreds of tackles over the season, they would be lost without him.

Projection: Middle of the road, they can’t drop but they will for sure not be in the playoffs in this state.

Oklahoma Thunder

Offense: The Thunder have a chance to make some noise this season. They look solid on the offensive side of the ball and don’t have any gaps I can see. George W Bush leads the team again wishing to be better than just the best of the worst. They could not do anything on the big names last season but the combo of Raikin Shelton and smash Williams could go a long way in correcting it.

Defense: Secondary looks a bit sketchy but like I said everyones seems to. They have a very solid front 7 and should have no problems shutting down the run with the likes of Pennington Leftwich and timothee Williams attacking the line of scrimmage.

Projection: They might cost a team a playoff spot but they are just a hair shy of getting a seed for themselves.

Oklahoma City Spartans

Offense: BBB #1 Champs have already proved to be interesting with a preseason win over the Steelheads, who knows what that means but its worth saying. Xavier Richardson had a record book year for any league with 2,800 yards and 30+ TDs. Allen Rainey Jr. is coming off a 1.400 yard season with 16 TDs, he has a great nose for the open field.Old school West teams better take notice of this squad.

Defense: Slavko Bekovic has one goal, hurt and maim the opposing QB, and he does it very well. Coming off a 19 sack season its clear he knows his way around the O-Line. He should be able to get those same numbers in the A #1. Pat Fitzgerald is a danger all over the field, with lots of tackles and a couple sacks and INTs he knows how to do any job asked of him. They also have good depth at the secondary and should not give up many break out receptions.

Projection: Fighting for a home seed for sure.

Round Rock 12th Man

Offense: These are the Western Champs from the BBB #2. Pat Fitzgerald is coming off a 3,000+ yard season and will be handing the ball off to Breakin' Ankles who is asked to only pick up small gains on the ground, a system that works well for them. O-Line knows how to play strong only giving up 2 sacks all of last season.

Defense: Here it looks a little shaky. They could very well be in for a rude awakening into the A #1. BIg-Hitter Sacks-A lot is the anchor of the left side of the field and not much makes it past him, but when it does Holden A. Grudge is there to not only control the left half but he makes his fair share of plays across the field as well. Joshua Hollings plays like a mercenary collect heads all over the field wherever hes needed.

Projection: Playoffs but might not make it out of the first round.

H-Town Hitmen

Offense: Jemarcus Kane is ready to forget last seasons sub one thousand yard season. He will need to find the holes the line opens for him a little bit faster if they are going to have any sort of formal rushing attack. Uncle Reeko was one TD short of break even, with 21 TDs he must have been doing something right, but the 22 INTs speaks for itself. This squad can only get better and they will get back into championship form before to long.

Defense: They had a rough wake up to the sickness that is the CCC. They gave up a lot of points in big games. Bull Randleman has got to step up and tack control at the NT position everything starts with him ending the inside runs. Demitrius Spinebreaker is ready to collect and thing that gets by and should have a good season. The secondary looks ok, but it will have to be tested to really see what it has.

Projection: Low seed playoff team, with a chance of a first run upset if they play their cards right.

Ok all done folks, enjoy, sorry Hitmen I forgot yours my bad.
