Hey there western europe...

I was a player on the Bay Area Invaders. I just wanted to say that the owner of that team is a total sleezebag. I told him i wasn't going to be signing a contract with his team so I could go play on my buddies team.

He then proceeded to trade me to a team today, when my contract runs out tomorrow. The other owner said that he had no idea and while he should have looked at my contract, to even offer that to someone is just wrong. I just hope all of you kick his ass for years to come. He mis managed his team horribly, drove good guys away, and pulls shennanigans like this. He has deleted posts of players who had valid concerns and posts trying to warn other players of his douchebaggery.

do not trade with him, do not help him. Please, crush him.

Looks like the Invaders are in the process of being gutted. Also, to be brutally honest, the team that accepted the trade for a player with a contract expiring on day one has no one to blame but themselves. First off, you should always contact the player being traded and not just take the team owner's word for it. Secondly, the offer screen alerts you to a player with an expiring contract.

I am consistently stunned by the immaturity of some owners. I have seen the same happen to people I know. I have been lucky, everywhere I've played the owners have been respectful and fair.

You are very fortunate. The first team I played on told me that the replays can't tell you anything about how to develop your player. They were nice, but know it alls. It created a lot of friction and locker room turmoil.

yeah, the other owner should have been more careful.

However, its like trading an injured player in fantasy baseball/football. Other owner should do their research, but you should be a man and not a jerk

What do you expect? The median age on GLB is probably like 15.

I know there are young players, but I doubt the age is that low... I've seen mostly older players myself.

Half of my team is at least over 25 and several are 40-50 plus. I'm actually surprised on the age of most of the players here. Maybe because the referrals game from a lot of sports blogs, forums, and sites like that to begin with. I haven't purposely recruited any specific age.
