A block buster to start to season in the West.

This game could go a long way in determining who gets a home playoff game.

Predictions anyone?

GL Wildcats

On paper Twin Cities should win this game, but San Diego has beaten teams better than it in the past...

Bolts 20
Wildcats 17

Bolts 24
Wildcats 21

The Wildcats is stronger on the paper but i think Bolts should win it.

Hmmm tough to say, both love passing... 13-10 wildcats , because it's gonna come down to a fieldgoal is all.

Wow.

The Wildcats aren't getting much love in here. We've had three games against the Bolts so far. I honestly don't remember what happened in the first but I remember it was close. We squeaked out wins in the last two as I recall...both very close.

The Wildcats simply cannot afford to lose. We begin the season facing four of the top teams in the conference, right in a row. We could conceivably start the season 0-4.

I expect a very close game against the Bolts, a very tough defensive struggle. I wouldn't be surprised to see something like 10-7 or even 7-6 or something like that as the final score.

Either team can win it.

I could see that score exactly, and I can REALLY see it coming down to a FG.

Huge game, yes.

The Bolts have done very well in preseason. They haven't allowed a single point on defense if I recall.

We haven't fared that well in preseason. We couldn't get a running game going at all in the first game. Our receivers didn't do much in the second game. We're trying to sort through all of that now. I hope our defense can hold it close for us and maybe we can convert on a timely turnover or something.

It's not that they aren't getting love, it's that the west is so tight right now that the top 8 or 9 teams are coin toss games...

FG difference for sure, and we both have good kickers. An for those of you who like to watch the game in the trenches I think this is going to be the key.

We allow 6 points to the Taints in the first game.

Just to be different, and even out the 'jinx factor' a little bit:

Wildcats: 22
Bolts: 17

Yes, there are a LOT of very good teams. It should go all the way to the last game again this season to figure out for many teams who is going to host a game in the playoffs (and even who is going to make it to the playoffs).

Rest assurred, the Wildcats-Bolts game is going to weigh heavily in the overall tiebreakers at the end of the season.

Okay boys and girls. I'm ready for the game. We should have a score within an hour.

Nice game Bolts. I really expected a close game today. I didn't see that score coming.

We'll see each other again in the playoffs. The only real question is whose stadium will we be playing in? I hope this year it will be ours.

Best of luck to you on the remainder of your season.

GG Wildcats, it seems you figured out your offense. I half expected that score as we haven't really done much boosting yet and you guys have, given your schedule to open the season I would have too.
