It's like someone asked, hey what do the Parrots want at the start of the season and someone answered a good solid butt kicking up and down the block while someone takes pictures to document the event.

*sigh* still, I guess it's good to measure up with the best and see how far one still has to come

Good luck to everyone this season!

Would you rather face difficult teams at the beginning of the season or the end after they've improved on their knowledge of the useless AI's?

I'd say take em when you can get em... Right now it's just a matter of luck with who does the AI screw less with.

Nose down chin up and plow...

Oh we defintely look for the challenge here in Hamburg and *boom* we did get it. And yeah, best to face them now than later while we have a chance to get a gaff in the beginning. Still, a possible 0-4 start does demoralize a team. But, as they say, that is why they play the games. It's not that I have little faith in my team. I have a great deal of faith in my players and my staff. But these are 4 very good teams at the start of the season that we face.

At least the freaking Stallions are out of here so now I can feel that I have a reasonable chance of victory in each game this season. I wanted to get a 'roid investigation going on them last season.

We won't give you an ass kicking... We will put the OT's a receivers, the punter as our QB, and the LB's as running backs. Maybe bring in the cheerleader to kick the balls (our girls got some legs on them) HAHAHA!

Just be aware that a) we have mastered bleeding all over an opponent into an art and b) our cheerleaders don't patrol the sidelines and rah rah during a game. Once kickoff happens they sneak off and trash the cars of the opponent's players with crowbars. Heck, I have to keep a special fund just for bail money for those team spirited individuals.

I'd rather get tougher teams at the end of the season actually. That said, we're in season #2 for this league so what happened last year means nothing. It means doubled nothing due to the fact that the level cap has been lifted.

And tahl.. when I see comments about the AI like that, it makes me wish you were in my conference. Not to mention that I owe the Scousers after the end of season missed field goal debacle that set us up with a first round date with the Stallions.

I love the new AI. Love it, love it, love it.

LoL... read some of the bug threads. You're the only one I've heard say they love it. I should say I specifically speak of the Offensive AI, not the Defensive AI. Offensively it's a crap shoot. With all the Attribute demand changes for skills plus the missing WR's and other things... Offensive AI is a long way off from being fixed. When he released it last season he said very clearly that it was something he threw together and put out there just because he put the Defensive AI out.

No worries, we'll be here at the end of the season to send ya packin again. See you at the finish line.

I love the new AI as well, but I have to figure out why my punting didn't register this last game. Luckily we only gave up 3 field goals. We gave the Bears the ball on our own 20, 3 times. Glad it was a preseason game!
