West Conference Offseason Power Rankings.

1. Pewntenheimer "Mighty" Pewnts
Top dogs, impossible to deny them their rightful place on top. Chokers or not.

2. Hammond Bayou Bengals
Best team on paper in the west, still pick up some losses each season though.

3. Twin Cities Wildcats
Incredible passing game, and possible a great running game, not that many people ever get to see it.

4. San Diego Bolts
Very strategic team with a ton of depth, put up a fight against even the best.

5. LUElinks LUEshis
I feel safe in saying the LUEshi's are looking at the deepest passing game in the west this season, without any team bias.

6. Tampa Bay Greyhounds
Solid passing and rushing games, are going to put up a legitimate fight against the West playoff chasers.

7. Farkistan Squirrels
Pretty deep in every position, will definitely put up a fight agaisnt anyone.

8. Hattiesburg Hangovers
Great team, but lacking decent depth in some positions.

9. Auckland Raiders
Lost some depth, defense looking a little thin, but nothing could stop this team from being a playoff contender. Everyone above them better watch out.

10. Austin Alcoholics
No offense to our newcomer friends, but some of your positions have pretty flimsy depth, so much so that it's a pretty huge deal. No doubt you'll be a contender, but you're really going to have to prove yourselves.

11. Texas Bigga Bois
Good team that just can't seem to get things done yet. Hopefully their better chemistry will help them out more this season.

12. Kingston Sidewinders
A few good players can't get a team in A4 west into the playoffs, but it can keep them out of relegation danger.

13. Laredo Lesbians
All heart but not enough depth.

14. Mudville Bombers
Decent offense but their low level defense and thin depth leave them a bit of a wildcard for the middlepack teams.

15. Houston Cougars
Need to step their game up if they plan to stay in USA A this season. Definitely have the potential to, but it's going to be a fight.

16. Gotham Crusaders
Flimsy depth, barely dodged relegation last season, probably wont this season.

East Conference Offseason Power Rankings

1. Niagara Rapids
Insanely deep passing game and deep, strong defense put them on top.

2. The Fighting Farvas
Also strong defense with solid depth, I just personally think Niagara edges you guys a little bit. Time will tell.

3. New York Grizzlies
great team with decent depth on offense, but defense is a bit thin.

4. Pittsburgh Steel
Strong run game puts these guys in contention for the top.

5. Beaver City Crabs
Good team, nothing stands out as overly good or bad.

6. Frunkis Town Virus
Also a good team with no real weaknesses.

7. Chicago Wolves
Solid on both offense and defense, will not be missing the playoffs this season.

8. Murfreesboro Taints
Light depth in various positions, could be a deciding factor in games against other top teams.

9. Tupelo Kings
Strong offense but defense doesn't look very strong.

10. Baton Rouge Bayou Bengals
Look pretty good, they definitely get better every season, but will have to DO some serious WORK if they want a playoff spot.

11. Twin City Cobras
Decent looking offense but defense looks pretty weak in certain spots.

12. Jersey Devils
Defense is weak, offense has some players to keep them afloat but again, not enough to land a playoff spot.

13. KingsTalk Angerswords
No real run or pass depth to speak of, it's gonig to put a lot of pressure on their defense which has a bunch of holes.

14. Clemson Gamecock Kickers
Same issue as the Devils but much worse, a couple decent players can't salvage a team with no depth at all.

15. West Virginia Mean Machines
Team transition, going to be tough to keep out of relegation danger, but is entirely possible as quite a bit has been gained in such a short span of time.

16. Thundertown Brawlers
Gutted team, welcome to the new Scorpions.

Awesome! Thanks for doing this man, I know it's not an easy thing. It's good to see us in the top-5. But hey, what would power rankings be without discussion. I question a couple things.

First of all, I fail to see this "insanely deep passing game" that you put for the Rapids. It's a solid passing game, don't get me wrong. 4000-yard passer is nothing to be frowned upon at all. But let's remember, this was in BBB #7! Also, looks like they have an OL full of early boosters . I also question this team's depth on defense.

In my opinion, the two top-dogs in the East will be the Farvas and the NY Grizzlies. Both teams look to have the best teams going into the season, and they always played close last year. For all the shit-talking I've done (in jest), I definitely think this game could go either way.

This is why we play the games, though!

we got a pretty stacked offense. but yes i do agree. our defense is very weak. it will not be what it was last year

Let's be real here man, they have 5 WR's and 3 TE's over level 21. Their pass game is the best in East. That said, I honestly believe The Farva's have a real legitimate shot at beating them, but the passing game combined with them having conference winning experience give them the slight edge. This could easily be changed after seeing a couple games.

You can't just look at levels tho, man . Like I said, just getting it going here.

Well, this is based off players, player histories and depth. I agree levels don't really count for as much as people think but on paper they have you guys beat. It's up to you to prove otherwise.

Exactly. These are just rankings. Things also change during the course of a season.

I'm in no way saying we have a better passing game than them. But I do think you should consider the scouting bars a little more. Their highest level wide receiver has 39 receiving and 42 carrying, indicating that his build isn't all that great for a level 25. The Farvas are definitely not as deep, but our #1 receiver appears to be considerably better than theirs at a lower level. Similarly, their level 24 TE only has a 33-bar in receiving. Their 2 other TE's don't get higher than 27, and appear to be blockers. We have 2 TE's at 33 and 36.

They do have a very deep group of receivers. I won't question that. But "insanely deep", I can't agree with.

unfortunately I agree with the rankings Although I would say 5-6-7 can end up in any order. We probably won't make the playoffs this season unless we figure out the new AI.
