My vote goes to the Saratov Slashers.

I was going to name the team The Vlad Impalers but we are the Chester Romans as it is the name of the real life team I play for and we all wanted a home together on here. Strictly speaking, Chester is based in Western Europe but we have made home in the East now.

I like the Iron Wolves and Slashers too.

Ok, here's my assessment of Zeta team names:

-Instant F for a non-EE city and this includes:
WhatsaMatta U Fighting Elk
Jefferson City Bucks
Booty Bay Blue Rogues
Mombasa Wombats
Chester Romans
Morgantown Biscuits

That leaves me with:
Tallinn Tigers
Vilnius Iron Wolves
Kharkiv Lo Pans
Saratov Slashers
Bucharest Stunners
Belarus Death Machine
Rostov-on-Don Squad
Katowice Legion
Maribor Triforce
Bratislava Stachstachers

Next, I would remove common, generic and/or lame mascot names even if the city was cool... I personally like Tallinn a lot, but the generic and non-region specific mascot rule it out as an A+ name, same with the Stunners, Slashers and Death Machine.

I'm left with these teams as candidates as best name:

For some of the names I'm unsure of the decision and if the owners would like to shed light on their decisions it would be cool. I'm a big respecter of names that have regional or cultural meanings, and I love some of the more obscure cities chosen in this list. If I were to go off of logos involved in the equation I would be left with Maribor and Bratislava. I'm tired of animated team logos with sharp transitions, death motifs, and teams with no logos.

You want cultural meanings? Ask around Belarus. 63% of domestic GNP is generated from the death industry and its subsidiaries. We are hosting a long tradition of manufacturing death machinery, and we don't appreciate your blasé dismissal of our proud name.

I had just switched the logo from the original triforce image (with the ribbons), to something I knocked-up in 5 minutes on MS-Paint.

Bratislava and Belarus win best logo from me, for being unashamedly eastern-block.
