If you guys really want bragging rights and all. If you really want to compare conferences, then just have all the top teams from the East and West agree to play eachother straight up the next 2 scrimmages and that will give you an idea of which conference is stronger...

just an idea...

I will not play the east straight up. I can pretty much put my thumb on both teams. I will use these two games the same way I did last year. to test my team on things we havent done previous, and measure the value for the season. Why would I show anything in a meaningless game?

We're pretty much doing the same thing. We're not going to do anything stupid but we do want to test some theories for next season.

Same here we are running some crazy shit that we would normally would not try in a game.We need to find out several things before the season starts and we are using these games just for that.Besides we are so tired of scouting and we are enjoying the break.

You need to talk to your Eastern brethren. Have you seen the latest Care Bear depth chart? This is the stupid stuff I was talking about in scrimmages.

Yeah, I'm not even bothering to scout. These scrimmages are all about us and finding out some things about tactics.

I've been so worn down from scouting the last half of the playoff push that I am sick of it. I'm actually liking this recruiting bit, although I doubt I'd like it if I had to go after more than 3 players.

Scrimmages are where I let the kids have free reign and do whatever tactics and depth chart they want because there is no money or experience involved. You'll have to convince a 7 year old that a DT shouldn't be playing QB.

Sure wish they had taken this seriously. That could have been a fun game.

I understand why he did it but we feel cheated out of what should have been a great football game.

I agree, I was looking to some good scrimmage OOC games to see which conference is truly superior, but oh well.

Since this is our one game to experiment with tactics, I can't say that I'm going to employ our typical tactics, but I'm not going to do anything that I don't think that has reasonable shot at success.

I'll make you this deal: if the Warriors will play straight up, I'll shoot you a pm with what I've learned from trying out a couple of twists on our typical tactical approach.
