ALPHA Conference

On paper this game seems to be evenly matched with the Stags owning a regular season win over the Wolverines 16-10. If anyone is capable of stopping the Stags vaunted running game it could very well be the Wolverines. But can the Wolverines run on the Stags?

(1)Southampton Stags 23 (2)West Yorkshire Wolverines 20

ZETA Conference

On paper the Knights carry a slight edge. In the game of the year back in week 13 the Knights prevailed over then Number 1 Ranked Browns 38-24. Can the Browns slow down the Knights rushing attack which netted 165.5 yards in the first matchup? Also the Browns will need to improve on the 45 yards rushing performance against the Knights. In the playoffs throughout GLB stranger things have happened. Not in this game.

(1)Edinburgh Black Knights 24 (2)Dallas Browns 16

Actually I think it'll be closer than 8. Could come down to who scores last.

We'll certainly give it a whirl - we started on the right foot with a three and out then the muffed punt put us on our heels the rest of the game. Our big battle will be to play well early and not let it get out of hand so fast again - if we can manage that battle we can compete and hopefully get a break at the end. GL to the Knights - real good owner you have there.

That's funny that I would get called a "good owner" by BadgerBacker because I was just about to talk about what a world class jerk he is. A punk, if there ever was one.

I certainly hope we win on Saturday. But if we don't, at least I know we'll have lost to a quality guy who's not opposed to sharing his knowledge with the so-called "enemy." Thanks, BadgerBacker, for making this season more fun for me. Good luck tomorrow.

And good luck to West Yorkshire and Southampton. It's a shame that a great season is going to have to end for two of our teams tomorrow.

Has anyone else checked out some of the other W.E. A leagues? I would say that we have the strongest of them all. I really think that there are about 6-8 teams in our league that would have won some of the other leagues.

It seems to happen that way alot, USA A1 AA1 AAA1 are all amazingly tough to play in and 90% of the teams could go to any other league and dominate.

I am coming off a real tough 15-13 loss last night in another conference championship to go to the Pros. Our team had six TO's - OUCH! If I lose I don't want a heart breaker - just kick my ass as I can't take two losses like that on back to back nights.

I'm pulling for the knights in the Zeta championship and the league just because the beat us in the McHaggis bowl and the McHaggis bowl rematch.

You are always down on you're team. Considering both teams have a legitimate chance to win, i really wouldn't doom you're own team.
