After an annonymous lead recieved about an hour ago about an attempt from Willm to patch things up with RB D3, we were lucky enough to get a quick interview with the owner of the Centurians.
GLB:Is it true that you asked for D3's forgiveness and asked him to come back to Cairo for next season?
Willm: Yes...(brief pause) I over reacted yesterday, i enjoy D3's in-charicter forum speels, it adds another spectrum to the game that can be at times, fun!
GLB: Is there going to be a problem in the backfield with him and smith?
Willm: Smith has said that he is not coming back to us next season, and if he has a change of heart he is welcome with Cairo, I know that we can support two dynamic backs, and although D3 can get out of hand, I would hope they could both put aside ther ego's for the sake of winning football games!
GLB: Do you think that had a part in the early exit of the playoffs?
Willm: No! I take responsability for that, and it will not happen this upcoming season regardless of what other players in the league believe!
GLB: Does it bother you being the most hated owner in Africa?
Willm: Absolultely not, It's a game, I pay into it, I'll do as I please, and to be frank about it, me caring what anyone else thought is what got me into trouble mid season, dishing off players in order to bring others in cost us locker room chemistry and a championship!
Willm: this season will be much different for Cairo, we will dominate, and are roster will be finalized by Day 1! We will not be making any other changes in the offseason!
GLB: Any response from D3 after the apology?
Willm: Not as of yet, and I understand if he doesnt want to be apart of the dyansty anymore, and I will ablige him by trading him! And I hope that smith will not hold it against me as well, but we are here to win, and I have to do whats best for our football team, and right now, that bringing back D3 and Brickshaw Jackson for a minimum of one more season!
