Let's see if I can do it again

Marvins vs Nightmare ok of course I am already biased but forgetting that and looking just at how close the last game was I say this is another nailbiter that comes down to 4th quarter performance and could even go into OT, Nightmare has been dominant but I wonder if they can keep it up. Key plays caused the marvins to lose the game so I say Marvins correct those errors and pull off the win. 21 - 20 (last minute FG by the marvins)

Rumblers vs Corsairs, as much as i want the corsairs to win for my own benefit I just don't think they can pull it off because they will be so full from eating diodeous's hat

Rumblers win 28-17

I assure you, if we meet in the finals this would be the upset you would NOT get.

The Marvins are underdogs going into the Nigeria game, so i hardly think we need to be taken down a peg or two. We`re just hoping we can spring an upset...

You're right, because if we meet in the finals, a win from either team wouldn't be an upset. Seedings mean a whole load of crap when people can boost later in the season as opposed to early. Had be been fully boosted, I can bet there were three games we would have won, at the very least.

Yeah, If anybody has a chance at knocking off Kinshasa it would be Gold Coast...but I'm just not so sure they'll be able to against Kinshasa's stacked roster.

Stacked roster. Have you looked at their roster much less their depth chart. I think their advanced tactics say "Sub out starters when dead"

I think we all agree that the Rumblers are the favourites to win the whole thing, so there`ll be no egotistical rebutes here.

The only time i argued was when someone in another thread claimed that none of the top 4 Lion teams COULD win against the Rumblers. It was the word `could` i had a problem with. I know all 4 could beat them on the day if everything goes right, but i also know that the odds would be in the Rumblers favour...
