You guys have been the class of the Alpha all season. We would have loved to knock you off today, but what can I say, you are too much for us to handle at this point.

It's only fitting that it comes down to the Rippers and the Fire in the Alpha. Good luck to both of you. Too bad you both cannot win So the rest of us wouldn't have to see you next year.....

I tell you what, I thought you guys had a fighting chance to get that win. You guys played us very tough down the stretch. You guys are right there at the top! Whoever wins this next game will be an underdog to the Stallions in the championship should they advance. You might see us both back next year, but no matter what both of these teams are going to fight hard to represent the Alpha Conference with pride.

If they run this league like other leagues the top team in Zeta and the top team in Alpha both advance leagues. With so many A leagues though I'm really unsure how they're going to work the advancement. There aren't enough AA's to move all the teams into... unless they take the top 2 teams in each of the A's and create an entirely new AA... now that would be interesting. There's enough A's that they could create an entire conference out of the winners of each one.

Hrmmm what will they do?

My guess is they take the top Zeta and Alpha teams from A #1 and A #2, promote them to AA #1, and take the bottom four from AA #1 and move them to A# 1 and A#2.

Not really. We had one injury plagued season to our D, had a terrible OL, and were almost .500. We did make a Superbowl they year before and have had a few really good seasons lately. If you don't get Farve, I think you will understand our QB misery this year. The team fills you with how great the guy has improved, but he is still terrible. You'll see. At least he has an amazing line and RB's. I can't believe you gave Berrian so much money. Man, he's getting payed just below the amount of TO, Moss, and Fitz.

Let's get it on. Hey by the way to help your scouting, we are going to pass 80 and run 20 this next game. I thought I would give you a heads up because we want you to bring your A game.

Unless the Packers manage to sweet talk Favre into dropping this whole deal, they're going to suck worse than the Bears or Vikings.. that is, if they didn't already. The Pack did end up having a fairly decent season last season, and I cheered them on.. but I'm not sure what to expect out of Aaron Rodgers. He is another Jeff Tedford project that has the potential to be a total flop (Akili Smith, Joey Harrington anyone?).. and he has a big mouth for someone stepping into the shoes of a legend like Favre with 59 career pass attempts. Maybe in due time he'll know what that whole "monkey on his back" is that Steve Young was always talking about.

For me.. I'll be cheering for my Steelers again, hoping for another 3000 yard, 30 TD, 100+ rating season for Roethlisberger.. maybe this season we can make it a little further than the wild card.

No offense taken. Vikes are trying to steal ole Brett from ya.

Bears D will be back this year. Our offense is very suspect, but our D can win a lot of games. 2 seasons of 13 wins in recent years on almost all defense only. If we get lucky and the offense is somewhat respectable, look out North.

Go Fire!
