Warrior General Games

Man, great game. We gave up a TON of yardage, but luckily our defense buckled down and held you guys to field goals for the most part and our offense was able to get us the points we needed for the W.

Holy Crap. They rolled all over us in yardage. 364 to 260? I don't think we've had that much difference all year long.

GG Drillers. Looks like this is one of those funky games were you won everything but the score. You should feel very proud. That's one hell of a team.

I hate to be a bad sport, but we won everything but because of one stupid wide zone defensive play that shouldn't even exist that you beat us on like 7 times we lost...twice it was three times in a row. I've been bitching about this play to my team since last season some time...you guys probably know the one I mean. I'm so happy I can make my own playbook next season...a CB playing close coverage should never line up ten yards away from his man...shit...even one playing medium coverage....

And I'm soooo glad that FG we decided not to kick before halftime didn't matter...

Now that I got that out of my system...a very good game and the best of luck to you next game. Just need some time.

Yeah, there are definitely some glitches in the game still, especially with zone, but everyone has those glitches, so I try not to get angry when we lose a game b/c of something like that.

Great game all in all. Our defense seemed like it had a mind of it's own, and decided to play the bend but don't break type defense, give up the yardage, but not the big plays, and then buckle down and force punts or field goals once you get past the 50.

I always fear the rematch. We were lucky to take the 1st one. GG to you guys. Now take the rest of the playoffs. We will be rooting for you.

Its that one play...I tried running 100% man coverage a couple times this season just so I wouldn't have to see it, but that is just a bad gameplan because the FS will come up and guard the HBs sometimes. It does get rid of it though...

Anyway, like I said, it shouldn't be to much of a problem to completely eliminate bad defensive plays from the game plan next season. I don't mind the AI calling the wrong play, but certain plays just have no purpose. The sideline is not a receiver that needs to be marked.

I haven't seen us run that effectively against a good team all season...something funky may have been going on on your end as well.

Hehe...I haven't even looked at the other results yet...

You're not being a bad sport and I don't consider what you wrote bad sportsmanship. I know exactly how you feel, because I've been there many times. There have been many games where the CPU just runs your game plan IT'S way...and I've nicknamed those games HAL games. When you watch the replays, you think "why did it do THAT" in certain game situations.

You did beat us all up and down the field, but like our game against Colorado last season, not many points came out of that situation. Does that happen in real football? Sure...but not as common as in here.

So...have a cold one, get this one out of your system...and remember you have my total respect as a fellow owner..and if we don't beat DC...you and I get to do this all over again next season. One of the major differences for us in here compared to all the other teams in this game...is if you lose in the playoffs, you get to stay in this league...and that's one hell of a consolation prize.

Yeah, I don't really mind staying in this league, as it just keeps getting better. I just hate to lose...I think luck is just such a huge part of this game wierd things will always happen and we might as well get used to it. I guess maybe I should start participating in the general forums and complaining about stuff like this until they fix it, but that just seems a waste of energy. I'd rather get my team ready for next season.

We just couldn't score TD's and you guys did. That TD after our lost fumble was painful painful painful. I could feel the morale draining out of our team.

i've gotten too stressed out watching the sims w/o knowing the score, I gave up on that awhile ago. I check the score, then watch the game, lmao.

Ha Ha. That takes all the fun out of it. I love watching the sims "live" not knowing the outcome. Of course, it must be done with an adequate supply of beer nearby.

I actually do the same thing. See the score first, than watch the game..lol.
