i know its the playoffs, and i had a feeling we were going to lose, but all the damn pics...after not having hardly any all season...look at the congo vs. un game...9 pics between two teams that hardly through any before! these sim sucks in the playoffs!

There's been some griping about it on the forums.

But ALL teams were affected. Not like anybody had a one up on the other.

It most likely has to do with teams having their whole defense play on Hard and people being more aggressive with play calling / player tactics. My team threw a number of pics in out last few games against though teams. Our QB was pretty good at not throwing ints before that.

Also once your QB throws a few picks if their confidence is not really high they become more and more prone to throwing more.

I really think it is also easier to scout D than O. Offenses tend to have more patterns which makes it easier to shut them down. My guess when you hit the tactics on defense just right that is the result.

i don't buy into scouting or tactics having anything to do with this. there's been too many people raising this issue on the main glb board for it to be something like that. everyone plays on hard every game. owners scout and adjust tactics every game.

something changed in the sim, and we're all going to have to adjust to it. question is figuring out what is was, specifically. was it a change to qbs, wrs, defensive personnel? which stat(s)?

i do agree that it may be something to make confidence more important, but right now this is only one of many possibilities.

well a change it the sim may be due but everyone has to deal with it. I think that it is forced and doesn't just happen.

i agree. i don't want the game to be stagnant and definitely think it will be interesting to see how each team reacts.

i do think it kinda sucks it came during the playoffs, but eh. its hard to be bitter when the team you lost to was just as good, if not better.

They don't use a different simulation for regular season games vs. playoff games. The difference is the level of competition, the ferocity of play, and the tactics teams use.

heh, my D-league QB threw 150 passes without an int in the regular season and 3 ints in his playoff game. I think it's the competition and aggressive settings though, also we were an 8th seed.

same here mine threw 245 without a pic, first playoff game 1 pic.

i though 9 all season and 6 in 2 playoff games..total bitch! lol!
