So, the conferece finals are here - all teams have fought here the hard way, and these looks to be very tough games. Reaching this stage is an achievement, but who falls at this hurdle??

ZETA CONFERENCE FINAL

Spaniard Quebrantagüesos vs Munchen The Fearless Lion
Munchen have played both games as underdogs this post-season, coming through each game with an effective passing attack and some good defence. Spaniard have ridden the cash train here, winning with a balanced attack and a positive turnover ratio. No doubt that the Lions play the underdog card again, but then, being Fearless would they have it any other way?
Prediction: Spaniard 31-20

ALPHA CONFERENCE FINAL

Seville Naranjas vs Knossos Mintotaurs
The Naranjas come off a close OT victory over Alpha's top scoring offense, and face a Knossos team jubilant after a good win over this post-seasons giant-killers, Fareham. The Minotaurs juiced Seville earlier this season, 22-17, and if history is any indicator, this will be a close game. Seville have the potential to beat anyone on their day (and most days are their day), but a Knossos team with a power offense and stout D will be their biggest test yet.
Prediction: Seville 23-20 (OT)

Who makes the Western Europe AA#3 'Superbowl' - we'll know in 48 hours!

Wow! Big time upset prediction for the Alpha side. Just locker room material for the favorite Knossos.

Regardless of the Alpha result, I'd bet the house Alpha wins by 14 in the title match vs Zeta.

Upset? You guys were 14-2 against Knossos' 12-4. They may have the edge in the head to head, but you guys kept it close, and have boosted a few guys late. This is a different matchup to week 6. I stand by the fact you guys are favourites.

We're mostly from the states, but have a few guys who've visited Sevilla. Didn't take me long to pick a city once I knew the team was in W. Europe. One of my favorite cities for sure.

It's just hard to think of ourselves as favorites. I just hope my guy doesn't screw up!

I'll take Knossos to win in a close defensive game, and Spaniard over Munchen but in a much closer game than predicted.

I can see our game with Seville being a close one. Probably similar to their game against Montcuq in that the last team to get the ball wins.

what do you look for when you predict?
look at the 2 teams, and matchup we are as strong as Spaniard Quebrantagüesos, this game will be an outcome of who have the best tactik

woundt give you a winne, (hope it is the lions but one team win whit 2 points

Go Munchen. If we had to lose to anyone, I'd rather it be the team that wins the conference, rather then the runners up (even though we lost to both of you guys...)

It says a lot about the level of competition in our league that we have a #2 vs a #5 and a #1 vs a #6 seed in the conference finals - and both games are too close to call either way!
