Lol I know I don't havea team in USA 6 but I still wonder... why did you name your team the way you did?

was the default name when the team was purchased... never could think of anything better so it has stayed the same. MIGHT change next season.

The core of my team posts on a message board www.nflfury.com/sportsboard (NFL Fury). It started (and still remains) somewhat Titans-centric.

Our name came from that...Tennessee Fury (we toyed with Dixie Fury in respect to the owner of our board, but thought some may misunderstand the meaning of our name).

I live in the city of Mentone, CA and there is a wash/ mountain water runoff that they jokingly call a beach. That is where Mentone Beach comes from.
Assault just reminds me of storming a beach in an attack.

I grew up in Richey, Montana and the mascot is the Royals. I actually called the school when I got my team and asked them to send me some Bumper stickers. I got enough for all the guys on my team to get 2.

Actually I was drunk when I bought the team for him and I spelled it wrong...Assualt!!!!

That's hilarious.

For our name, I just wanted a cool sounding name. Usually, I have trouble thinking of those sorts of thing, but I think ours is pretty good for a football team.

Drunk ass, I had to have one of the moderators fix our team name!!!!

The Bugeaters are made up mostly from people on the Rival's Husker Illustrated forum. Pre 1900's, one of Nebraska's nicknames was the Bugeaters.

My personal team isn't in A6, but I'll give my reason too. I picked the Ewok name because I thought it would be funny to have other teams see some little cute guys beat them. I kind of like the idea of the none technological advanced species beating the more advanced stormtroopers. My team was also from Alaska originally. I figured most other teams would pick a place outside of Alaska, so I decided to find a place in Alaska to call home.

The default for my team was the Philadelphia expos, or express, something like that, didn't much care for it. I decided to go with my favorite animal and make it the Philadelphia Wolves.

Slashers was the name of the team when Morid got it. Morid and a couple of us GMs are from the Washington area.

I think the Slasher moniker stuck when I made the saw avatar and started handing out Game Saws.
