Game 1
----------#1 - Zimbabwe Beavers
vs
----------#8 - Kenya Naturals
Thoughts on game:
The Beavers, IMO, are the most powerful team on the field. If the Naturals have a chance, I dont really see one.
The loss the Beavers have is from the Sea-Wolves, which loooks to be a fluke and was a one time ordeal.
PICK - Zimbabwe Beavers by 3-5 touchdowns


Game 2
----------#4 - Gambia Diamond Cutters
vs
----------#5 - Gabon Forest Dragons
Thoughts on game:
Both teams are 12-4, so that tells you that they are fairly evenly matched. I went the game statistics. Picking a number of vital stats, I looked and think the Dragons will edge them out by much, althought the Cutter have scored more in the season, and the Dragons gave up less on defense, I think this will be an old fashioned slugfest to the end.
PICK - Gabon Forest Dragons in a CLOSE game


Game 3
----------#2 - Tuscaloosa Bulls
vs
----------#7 - Seychelles Island Sea Wolves
Thoughts on game:
Tuscaloosa was definately not given any credit by myself and I was absolutely proven wrong on their ending record. I think the key here, is the Bulls defense, they gave up 3 times LESS points than the wolves, and I think that will be the deciding factor.
PICK - Tuscaloosa Bulls in a CLOSE game


Game 4
----------#3 - Texas Legends
vs
----------#6 - StingTalk Yellow Jackets
Thoughts on game:
The Legends defense gave up half as many points as the Jackets this season and the Legends' rushing game is just powerful. I think they will edge out the Jackets by 2 or 3 touchdowns.
PICK - Texas Legends by about 2-3 touchdowns

Game 1
----------#1 - Transatlantic Fear
vs
----------#8 - Lacashire Wolverines Colts
Thoughts on game:
The Fear have a powerful offence, scoring well over 1200 more yards than the Colts. I think the Fear will mow down the Colts in this game.
PICK - Transatlantic Fear by about 3-4 touchdowns


Game 2
----------#4 - Central African Wild Dogs
vs
----------#5 - Casablanca Sultans
Thoughts on game:
This will be a tough, hard-fought battle. The Wild Dogs have both scored more in the season, and have had less scored on them. The Dogs have the highest Rushing totaly this year but the Sultans have more yards passing.
PICK - Central African Wild Dogs in a CLOSE game


Game 3
----------#2 - Somalia Wildcats
vs
----------#7 - Krakow Tigers
Thoughts on game:
On paper, they are almost close when it comes to levels, but the Tigers have consistantly underperformed all year., and the Wildcats have not. I think that pattern will continue.
PICK - Somalia Wildcats by about 2-3 touchdowns


Game 4
----------#3 - Tanzanian Terror
vs
----------#6 - Chicago Killer Frogs
Thoughts on game:
The defense's look fairly even, both allowing a very similar number of point, but on the offensive side of the ball, the Terror scored more than 100 points more in the season. I think the Terror are an above average team that honestly have done far better than I would have guessed.
PICK - Tanzanian Terror by about 1-3 touchdowns

To be honest, I'm not expecting a win at all and I think we have had a good season to get to the playoffs considering our levels compared with the conference but we aren't there just to make numbers.

Good luck Lancashire like i said on the BAFL forums we would be rivals at some point

I think it is more of a mountain for us than rivals... =)

I would have thought you would pick the Frogs just so the Terror could win.

We might not pull off the upset, but it certainly won't be three touchdowns. If I remember correctly, we lost by 16 last time. I consider us a better team at this point.

The Krakow tigers match up very well against the wildcats so I would love to win by 2-3 touchdowns. I can't say which way we are getting in the endzone, but we can't wait to showcase the talent on the team.
