I could see it now. The big game is going to be the Niagara Falls Sunrise versus the Alberta Assassins. That will be a good game.

I wouldn't count out the polar bears so easily, I think these playoffs will have some very close games.

Oh really?

Well congrats on winning the East Sundowners. I thought we had to play the games first and last I checked you needed a few miracles to beat the Vikings the first time.

We highly respecting you.... oh you mighty Vikings... I dont get why you get so sensitive on what others projects? We know its just luck on Sundowners for having a Great kicker... Maybe the one that told that statement didn't watch the tapes between Vikings and Sundowners, for him to say that so easily. Again, we are all respecting Vikings, It's just someones prediction! We all love to play with Vikings again to settle the issue this guy brought up! so Cheer up! Long live Vikings

The Maulers got lucky that because they were overestimated. When they face a team as great as the Alberta Assassins they will get pwned. We rule the Western Conference and we will reign supreme.

Shouldn't you be good before you run your mouth?

Alberta's opponents ranked
13,6,8,11,16,10,15,7 (that's 3 playoff teams)

Maulers opponents ranked
3,7,4,5,13,6,8,5 (that's 7 playoff teams)

You can ignore that if you want, but let's look at who both teams played.

Common opponents-13(Coyotes),6(Outlaws),8(Badgers):
Alberta won
24-21
23-13
31-6

Maulers won
41-13
48-6
39-17

Alberta is probably the 5th best team in the conference, and that's being generous.

I don't even think I get this 100%, but I still got a kick out of it.

But yeah. The Assassins get much respect for running the table and beating everybody they were assigned to.

But Alberta didn't have to play any of the top 5 teams in the conference.

No disrespect meant to you guys, but I'd be surprised if you got by the Badgers.

And by you guys I mean the Assassins, I just quoted nano's post because I thought it amusing.

This is the only way to compare the two teams...and the Maulers are better in almost every way.

We have beat them once and we will do it again. In fact we beat them by 25 points. Look for yourself:

You can't seem to decide whether or not they're a worthy foe...

When somebody says they're going to get stomped, you point out that they outlevel you in a couple of spots, when somebody says there's gonna be an upset you point out that you guys beat them soundly.

The truth is, levels in the scouting report are to be taken with a huge grain of salt, and the results of the second game of the season in a league with a ton of fast levelling isn't a great way to gauge either.

And it looks like other than each other, you didn't play a common opponent? Is that possible? I guess. Just unlikely.

What Im trying to say is that they are a powerful team right now but they may not be able to beat us. Its as simple as that.
