Why is a 9-7 Griffin team in the 8 spot over a 9-7 Hoods team that beat said Griffins?

Such a joke..

edit: Not sure how this is gonna work out.. Team page says we are in 6th, the league pages has us in the #9 spot with the three other 9-7 teams ahead of us, two of which beat us..

Things will work it self out sooner or later. The serious of tied breakers on team vs team and if that doesnt work it will go by points scored.

1. # of head-to-head wins against the other teams with the same record
2. # of points scored
3. # of points allowed.

With no. 1 being the first tiebreaker Im not sure how it is gonna work cause all the teams that were 9 - 7 won at least one game vs. a 9 - 7. So I think it will go to category 2.

It's a 4-way tie, and you guys lost to Milan and Sundsvall. Schiffertown lost to you guys and Milan, but they outscored you 356 to 336. Sundsvall lost to Milan and Schiffertown, but outscored you 462 to 336.

Milan beat Sundsvall, Schiffertown, and you guys, but put up the least amount of points.

It'll be interesting how it turns out.

Milan looks safe being they won their 9 - 7 matchups. So it looks like the current setting is correct. The hoods due to scoring less are out.

yeah its screwed up. My team had the same issue. It should be H2H points scored in the event of a tied record and eaual h2h wins for multiple teams.

In our leage 3 teams tied for 4th place and each of the 3 had beaten 1 of the other 2 teams so it went on points scored over the season rather than in the h2h games. Ended up with a team finishing 6th who beat the team that finished 4th by 10 points.

Totally screwed up logic, but there you go.

we also beat the tigers and huskies... Which they did not.. Cry about it...

Doesnt matter much anyway. Knights would have eliminated them in the first round.
Only thing they lost was $$$. Now the Griffs get to be humiliated.

Uhh, you also lost to Bonn Jovi and Icelandic Vikings, which they did not.

But neither of those points have anything to do with the playoff picture. Except for the fact that we wouldn't even be having this discussion if you'd beaten teams you were better than.

There's tiebreaker system in place that we all knew about before the season started.

Look at the bright side. You only missed out on 100k in cash, as neither team will/would make it to the second round.

We won just as many as you did, not to mention beating you..

No offense, but Edinburgh and Dallas are NOT going to lose in round 1. Milan is the only one with a chance, but they are clearly deserving of the 6 spot considering they scored the most points of the 4 teams despite resting their starters against Belfast and Jamaica. No controversy here.
