Death, Taxes, and Buddy picking against the Roughnecks

I think he may be missing on something here that is the main reason he picks against us.

I don't trust the playoffs...both post-seasons we've seen so far have seemed somewhat wonky.

I agree. I don't care what Bort says, the playoff games ARE funky. I dont' know if it's the underdogs just saying, "the hell with it" and setting go for broke strategies, or last minute boosting, but weird stuff happens.

One of my guys owns a team in the Asia leagues. Last season, they were undefeated, easily...EASILY..rolled through the entire Conference, beating just about everybody by 20 points per game. The team gets to the Conference championship game rolling through the first two games the same way, and the CPU sends him home with 9 turnovers.

I would like to see another little tweak added to this game, that will also present some new strategies. I'd like to see some home field advantage built in. That would definitely add a little thought to the delayed boosting formula...do you boost early and go for the home field advantage, or do you delay boosting and loose that but gain a more powerful team?

I did all my boosting early for the sole reason of getting the extra $$$ for home playoff games. I want my stadium complete.

Its a double edged sword really. In the earlier seasons it was much more beneficial to wait to boost because you could easily gain 2 levels over the competition by the time you boosted for the playoffs. Now that we are at the higher levels and the XP gain is getting more minimal its getting a little more complicated. By the end of the season you'd be lucky if your at half a level difference.
