must have pissed bort off...could be for multiple types of offenses though. I'd be curious too why that owner lost his team.

Well that could make the playoffs a little intresting.

WOW, that is pretty big news. Glasgow was one of the most dangerous teams out there...pulled some big wins through the season. Did they not pay a loan? This will have an interesting effect on the playoffs for sure.

they had too much cash not to make a loan payment...maybe they offered flex to players for signing contracts

How many players did the owner have on there? Are they gone as well?

I've seen them ban owners and players, but not the gm's too. Even in that case DD took over and gave all the power to the gm's. This had to be something crazy just to make them cpu owned right at playoff time.

whatever happened its a damn shame, the doom has great talent and some joker gets the keys to hotrod. I hope he doesnt blow up a great team just to do it.

nope not till at least midnight

when you sell a team it goes cpu then the new owner takes over

I just don't know the gap time.. I think it's when updates go..

but not sure itf it's same night or not..



Whomever gets that team IF they are smart will drop the cords back in place and let them win some games for him quick..

with rosters locked maybe they won't even put new owners out till off season ??

Hey everybody, I'm the former DC for the Doom. Sorry about not getting on here earlier, but I've been really slammed both here and in my real life. I had a huge problem at home so I was away for a bit only to log on and find the team's been sold out from under me. The owner and I had talked earlier about possibly transferring the team to me, but I guess he just bolted.

I've had a couple of messages of support and for that, as well as the concern shown here, I thank you guys. It was a great season and most of the guys on the Doom had a lot of fun and would like to continue. I think almost everyone on the team has contracts that are expiring at the end of this season so take a look at the roster to see who you'd like to pick up.

I'll put in the good word for those teams that contact me. There has already been one team who's expressed an interest so they'll get the first shot, but after that it's a free for all. Again it's been fun and thanks for the support.
