Basically, due to the failings of last seasons process, I have decided to forgo the whole "nomination" process and instead have hand picked from the two Conferences those players to be considered for the various positions.
However, there are a couple of catches.
I will accept multiple nominations from players on the same team as this is a PUBLIC vote, not simply a vote of Owners/GM's. Any effort to rig it will see me laughing in your general direction.
Also voting is allowed cross conference. Alpha may also vote for Zeta candidates and vice versa.
I hope to see some honest voting for opposition teams and players, not merely your own.
If teams could please link to this thread in your own forums in order to raise awareness. Cheers.
VOTING
All votes are hidden, and to be sent via PM to myself.
When Voting please list the player as below:
ALPHA - QB - Steve Tarkenton
ZETA - QB - Jason Street
ZETA - HB - Chris Johnson
or alternatively copy+paste my post, and delete out those you do not wish to nominate (and add in your nominations in the blank spaces provided).
I don't mind if you do all Alpha first, then all Zeta - so long as it retains the right format (this helps counting up).
UNITS
Some portions of the Pro Bowl will be voted for by "Unit". A unit is a full formation of a particular team (such as its defensive line). Additional individual votes will be taken. This allows you to say something like:
ZETA - D-Line - Madrid Tigers
ZETA - D-Line - Marion Dangerously - Grass Root Divots
The vote for the Unit will be 1pt to all players on that D-Line.
A nomination for an individual will be 1pt to that individual player.
Please see below for further "notes".
NOTES
- In certain cases I have listed "dual" players in limited cases (when backups have made significant contributions to primary positions - in these cases the votes are for the primary player, but with an honourable mention to their understudy).
- There may not be an equal number of nominations from each conference.
- A minimum of 2 players for each primary position will be selected for the Pro Bowl (I think this may have caused confusion with regards to the "formation" information below - the Formation is simply how the results will be presented).
- Due to the difficulty in seperating them due to a lack of tangible stats - Fullbacks are included with Runningbacks automatically. A vote for Billie Holliday is a vote for Alvin Smith.
- O-Lines are nominated as a "unit". It's up to you how you grade them (pancakes, hurries, sacks - once I have the O-Line votes in I will pick out the best for each position from the voted teams). A vote for Chi-Town Bombers is a vote for their starters at LT, LG, C, RG, and RT. I will take special nominations as part of the PM (both your own team, and perhaps an opposition player who has impressed).
- As above; D-Lines are nominated as a "unit". Individuals will be selected from those teams picked as best fit a 4-3 formation. Special Nominations may be sent as part of the PM.
- As above; Linebackers are nominated as a "unit" (ROLB, LOLB MLB). Individuals will be selected from those teams picked as best fit a 4-3 formation. Special Nominations may be sent as part of the PM.
- As above; Cornerbacks are nominated as a "unit" (CB1, CB2, CB3). Individuals will be selected from those teams picked as best fit to a 2CB scheme. Special Nominations may be sent as part of the PM.
- As above; Safeties are nominated as a unit (FS and SS). Individuals will be selected from those teams picked as best fit to a 2Safety scheme plus special nominations.
- A "special nomination" will be counted seperately. This is a chance for a manager/GM to nominate someone who has perhaps not featured anywhere else but has achieved something on special teams, or that isn't represented by statistics. Returners will have their own category.

) and then you can then have a "Special Nomination" for a particular player on another team (or same team) so you could end up giving 2pts to Small, or 1pt to another CB.
