Hey folks,

Our friends on Belfast (now Vatican City) and Ahlen (now Flying Monkeeh) will be relegated, leaving my Dublin team as the incumbent bottom of the alpha division.

I took over the team last off-season, and we have been slowly trying to improve things. We have made great headway, eliminating our debt, replacing inactive players, getting some energetic recruits and now trying to restore some team chemistry. I hope that we keep several of the games competitive next season (no more triple figure losses!).

Most importantly, I want to do the alpha conference proud, and show the Zeta conference that even the bottom of alpha is better than most of zeta!!!

We, also, will likely be changing our name. We'll likely be staying in Dublin, but we don't feel we have earned our "Destroyers" nickname that we inherited from previous owner.

We appreciate playing in such an active division. Good luck to those of you playoff-bound, and we look forward to seeing you across the line of scrimmage next season.

Yes, but we want to get team alignment first. Also, we want to make a big splash so we can sell lots of jerseys!

Dublin have been fighting all season, but remember that the teams coming up from 'A' all had the level 13 cap at the start of this season. Might not be the incumbent cellar team.

I'm guessing that as 'A' champions, they had a lot of guys who started the season near level 13, leveled up during the year, might have boosted during the season, and could boost again to start next season. Not sure they will be "pushovers". Obviously, they will have been well developed build-wise and coached well.

We have no intention of ending the season in the cellar, that's for sure, but rather the cellar of alpha than the top of zeta!

Agreed - they'll probably be no pushovers, but hopefully they won't come in and contend for the top spot like some promoted teams do.
