Week 10: 6-2
Week 11: 7-1
Week 12: 7-1
Week 13: 6-2
Week 14: 7-1
Season: 88-16
Well, this is the final week of conference play. Haven't decided if I am going to attempt the OoC games or not. Probably will. But time will tell.
Game of the Week
Dublin Drunken Monkeys at South Yorkshire Stars
This is game of the week because I said so. My predictions; I make the rules.
Whereas that is very true... this game also has some decently large implications. This could be the difference between a home and away game for the DMonks, and SoYo is clinging to every fabric of hope for a Bloodsuckers 1-game meltdown. Though the latter is highly unlikely... we in SoYo have to do something with our hopes, right? Right.
So with that said... it is now time for the DMonk's to receive payment for ruining my 8-0 last week. It's just inevitable karma set in motion by the powers that be. I look for the Dmonks to win 2 of their next 3... but neither of those 2 W's will be happening in Week 15.
Transylvania Bloodsuckers at St. Louis Storm
Bloodsuckers close out the conference schedule with a solid win over a quality team... as has been their trend since the second week of the season. Hard to not pick them as the favorite to be headed to the dance considering their charge through the year.
Wrexham Maelor Brionnfhionn at Warsaw Knuckleheads
Well, Wrexham find themselves sitting on the short end of the playoff bubble. With 2 games to go, they are in 9th. They need to win out to secure a position. Unfortunately, the Knuckleheads stand in the way of that. In a typical situation, I give Warsaw the win easily, but considering the stakes, Wrex might be doing their homework this go-round. They could be the ones to prove me wrong.
Ithaca Space Munkees at Amsterdam Arctic Blast
Amsterdam cruises on to attempt to grab a chance for that last home playoff spot. Plenty of other factors come into that scenario, but i definitely look for the AAB to easily do their part this week.
Grim Reapers at Basin City Blues
This one could be an epic one. Grim is a great team who has just been out of rhythm lately. BCB coming off a tough loss looking to rebound. It's almost a battle of opposites. Kind of accordingly, seeing as each has their goals set a little differently at this point. BCB wants a home game. Grim wants a game. Sorry, Grim... but I'm liking BCB's chances.
London Brawling Tommies at Crimson and Cream Sooner Machine
Well, when you are dealing with a 1-13 vs a 0-14, you have to go with the team who's logged a W. So I'm going with London. No other reasoning than that.
Belfast Mafia at Vatra Dornei Wraiths
This is another one where I just don't see an upset really being too likely. Belfast is a hell of a team who has done nothing but prove their legitimacy repeatedly. Wraiths are no cupcake. But I think they are already looking to next season.
Kilkenny Cannibals at Oklahoma (U.S.A.) Outlaws
Outlaws have finally gotten 3 on the board. But I don't think that's enough to roll onward to a victory over a very good Cannibals squad. They have opened a lot of eyes in the second half of this season, and look for them to be on an even bigger showcase this week against a still-building Outlaws squad.

I think we pull out a W in the last 2 games.
