Interesting, in Alpha, that 1-8 can entirely change based off of these last 2 games.

Should be a fun few days to watch unfold.

Good luck to all in the playoff hunt!

The push for spot 8 looks quite exciting indeed.

The Bears currently hold the last spot, but have 2 incredibly tough games left, which they're likely to lose (hope i'm not being over confident )

Then there's the Players and Dauphins, if either of them wins out they'll get the final spot...

Also, Derek, if you guys lose, we move up to #1 based on tie-breaker I believe. That would move Minsk to 2 and u stay at 3.

Hate to say it, but i'm rooting against ya for the next 2 lol.

Oh yeah I forgot about that! Equally, if we beat the Bears by 200 points we'll be the number 1 seeds

There's a strong chance of us losing in week 16 as we'll be experimenting ALOT against cattle creek, also some back-ups will be seeing time. Personally I don't really care where we finish now, as far as I see it at this stage unless there's a major upset we're going to have to beat both you and Minsk to get to the championship game.

It's gonna be fun

The #4 and #5 spots are the most valuable because you don't have to play Minsk, LBT, or the Cows!!!

Expected finish:
minsk 15 - 1
lbt 15 - 1
cows 15 - 1
'roners 11 - 5
outlaws 11 - 5
vandals 11 - 5
aggies 10 - 6
players 8 - 8

Not necessarily in that order. Vandals, Outlaws, and Enthroners have a big tie going so how does that get resolved?

We lose on the points difference because we played the vampires early in the season

Ok, Here's the update:

Before the last game of the season:

Round 1

(1) Minsk vs. (8) Moscow Bears (in by virtue of tiebreaker, total points scored)
(4) Fehervar vs. (5) Tallaght
(2) LBT vs. (7) Texas
(3) Krakow vs. (6) Moscow Vandals

Clinched:
Minsk
LBT
Krakow
Fehervar
Tallaght
Moscow

Still fighting:
Texas
Moscow Bears
NISSA
Int'l

Texas, Win and you are in. That simple.
Texas v. Carluke Cobras - Prediction Texas Wins and holds the 7 spot

Here's the fight for the 8 seed:

Moscow Bears, NISSA Dolphins, International Players 3 opponents in week 16....

Moscow Warriors (1 seed, zeta) v. Int'l
London Headhunters (2 seed, zeta) v. Moscow
St. Pete Storm (4 seed, zeta) v. NISSA

Moscow Bears
W vs. Int'l
W vs. NISSA
total points 201

Int'l
L vs. Bears
W vs. Nissa
total points 373

NISSA
L vs. Moscow
L vs. Int'l
total points 232

Moscow - Needs Win and is in
Int'l - Needs Win + Moscow Loss and takes the 8 spot
NISSA - Needs Win + Moscow Loss + Int'l Loss and takes the 8 spot

I would say, Nissa has the best chance of their scenario coming true.

Gonna be an interesting Saturday morning

Still have to favour the Mighty Bears making it in, after all they've recruited a stud GM

I think it's awesome that the 8th slot for Alpha is determined by playing the top teams in zeta. That's some serious bad luck on the inter-conference draw.

Hat Creek may throw in some backups as starters because we like the matchup as being a 6v3 better than a 5v4

You won't find me laughing I'm still wondering Whiskey Tango Foxtrot as to how we blew that one.
