I'm not going to comment on the Jokers management/owner/RB. But you seem like you belong on a team called the jokers if your calling out your own team like that...

Really? Looking at the team profile, roster, and depth chart, the only serious weaknesses I see are lack of depth and a big drop off in levels from starter to backup at some positions. Team chemistry looks pretty good (although I have no knowledge of actual interpersonal relationships on the team). Maybe the game planning could stand some improvement? They have some close games and a few bad showings but none of those 100-0 blowouts that truly bad teams get saddled with. Some good recruiting in the off season and they could turn things around.

This looks like nothing more than a juvenile ad hominem attack.

Why make an outrageous comment like this without elaborating? The ownership is bad because? The RB is bad because? This is the kind of bashing we don't need. I mean if you are trying to warn people of something then maybe a more tacful and insightful approach shoud be taken.

ok, first of all, the owner promised starting jobs to players and then signed better ones. then when the players who were promised starting jobs asked to be released, they were dropped off the depth chart completely and were not released. then when the players went into the forums to complain, they were banned from the forums. and the owners RB is bad because he uses over half of the plays for his running back, and his running back does nothing. the ownership is bad because the GM's are more active then the owner is. i would know, it happened to me. and the teams record clearly proves some things.

That might be because he wants the GM's to manage the team, and he quietly watches...

Onto your problem with people being removed from the depth chart, and having their perms from the forum removed, well. Not much I can say there.
Maybe the players had too much attitude with the owner....maybe the owner has way too much attitude with the players..

I have both players and own a team, and GM two others.

I see it from both sides of the fence.

Signing a player, saying you will start...
then hiring someone else better to start. Well, I have done that...on accident to be honest. But they just need to work it out. Drop em, whatever...

Still, you shouldn't go onto the public forum bashing them. Go and complain to a mod or something...

Aren't you a level 7 kicker who has missed 50% of your kicks from inside the 30??


And the owner signs a level 10 kicker to replace you.

And revokes your forum permissions because you trash him on the boards.

You are lucky he did not just cut you outright -- you are a low enough level you might still get a D-league contract. But then you could not complain about the owner, huh?

i wanted him to cut me,it was better than being on his team. and the only reason i trashed him on the forums is because he wouldn't release me after i PM him about 10 times. also i didn't care that he signed a lv 10 kicker to replace me, i was fine with being second string, as long as i got to play. but he dropped me completley off the depth chart with out even telling me or releasing me. so now im just sitting here with a lv 7 kicker whose contract doesn't end until season 5. and about the missing the 50% of the kicks thing, this is an online fantasy GAME, its not like i can control what kicks he does and doesn't make.

If your second string, then you wont get playtime. You CAN actually influence what kicks he makes by placing points in the right places...

When a player messages me DEMANDING things (not that I am saying you are) it immediately puts me on the defensive. The moment a player starts making demands and has requirements to sign a contract or things like that, it simply get bad really quickly.

if both parties sit quietly at the e-table, it generally works out better....MOST of the time.

Sometimes, an owner, or a player just dont know that and go off the deep end.

I say contact the Goal Line Blitz Players Association.

No offense, Dave, but between your avatar, and your attitude, I'd be happy being a coach letting you ride the bench. Remember, no contract happens without your approval. He signed you, and you agreed, so he can do whatever he wants with you. And, no offense, you seem like a player that I would probably drop behind other people, based on your personality alone.

Remember, the whole point of the game is to roleplay football players. They have to work hard and kiss owner's asses. If you failed at that, well... You reap what you sow. Your picture makes me want to punch you in the face, without any knowledge of you other than you bitching about an owner. Maybe you're a tool who deserves what you get? Sorry, this is a game that requires some finesse, some psychology, and some ability to deal with people. You kinda seem like a jerk to me, maybe you ended up being a jerk to your coach, too, and that's the way it goes.

Sorry, there is finally a game that treats asses like asses, and someone who misrepresents himself gets to ride the bench for a season with no control. Pretty satisfied with that, and anyone who isn't probably deserves what they get.

i didnt start out being a jerk, but being completely dropped from the depth chart for no reason turned me into one. but i guess i will have to own a team to understand some of the decisions that team owners make. thx for being real wightboy and Zhrakkan.
