Well, guys. I have time to do a real one for these games. Hopefully it will be worth it. And in accordance with last week's predictions, I do--in fact--Predict all 8 games will occur.
Game of the Week
Basin City Blues at Dublin Drunken Monkeys
It doesn't get a whole lot more exciting than this one. With the 1-2 spots all but secured by The Bloodsuckers and the Stars, the focus now shifts to the race for #3. Both teams are teams who could potentially be undefeated in some of the W.E. Leagues. Yet they sit in 3rd and 6th in WE7 Alpha. The smart pick here is for the Dublin guys with their recent play, but you know what? Sometimes I'm not smart. I think BCB is going to pull this one off. They're the underdog, but I look for them to jump from 6th to 4th this week... then make a push on #3 the following week. This is going to be one for the books. Can't wait to check it out.
Warsaw Knuckleheads at Grim Reapers
Knuckleheads have the momentum here. Both teams coming off a loss, but the Reapers have been in a bit of a downslide over the past few weeks. With that considered, I really can't pick them over a team like Warsaw. They seem to be the type that would capitalize on the slightest slip-up.
South Yorkshire Stars at London Brawling Tommies
No Offense.... but yeah....
St. Louis Storm at Ithaca Space Munkees
StL needs a win here in the worst way. They find themselves in the battle royale for playoff contention with 3 games left to plead their case. They'll win this one. Well..... they should. Don't confuse their recent losses for ineptitude. They can play some football. We'll be reminded soon.
Oklahoma (U.S.A.) Outlaws at Transylvania Bloodsuckers
Bloodsuckers win this one big. Very big.
Amsterdam Arctic Blast at Wrexham Maelor Brionnfhionn
Don't count either of these teams out. Amsterdam is fighting hard for that #3 bloodbath, as well, and Wrexham is on one heck of a streak lately. Both are extremely motivated. However, I think I will stick with my usual reasoning for AAB predictions... raw power. I think they have too much.
Crimson and Cream Sooner Machine at Belfast Mafia
Should be a "cruise to victory" for one of the multiple promotion contenders.
Vatra Dornei Wraiths at Kilkenny Cannibals
Clash of 4-9's. Two of the best 4-9 teams I could point out. However, I feel like the Cannibals have shown a better performance overall than the Wraiths. They are playing pretty well recently, and I look for that to continue.
