I have thought about making a post called, Season 3 League Highlight Reel...
basic categories I thought of were:
Best Offense Play,
Best Defense Play,
Best Special Teams Play, and a
Blooper Reel.
There could be additional categories, but was thinking to keep it simple and light on work.
My proposal breaks down like this:
1) until the end of the playoffs, each team would decide which two plays per category were their best. If you want to nominate another teams' play against you; that's fine with me and it will count as YOUR submission not the Team you are highlighting.
NOTE: If a team submits more than two per category, I'll choose the best 2, except for the blooper reel... can't have too many of those sometimes!
NOTE2: These submissions are a SINGLE PLAY only... if there is a funny, pathetic, or awesome play that takes 2 or more plays to show... that will go into the blooper category AND the team will provide a "story" to explain what happened.
2) I would make the initial post after the first playoff game and begin to receive submissions until the Championship Game. Immediately following the final playoff game, I will line up the plays under their respective category.
3) Voting would begin soon after. The voting period would be from the beginning of Off-Season and 2-4 days into next season.
4) around Day 4 to 5, I will tally up the total votes and post results.
Reply if you'd be interested in doin this. This Highlight Reel post will only be as good as your interest. I do NOT plan to scour every play by play to determine this - Im not THAT time-indulgent to do it, just willing to organize it. Also if there isn't enough Teams interested in doin this, I don't plan on making a post of just a few plays from a few teams either.
