Well, not ready to delve into the game recaps and do the wrap up just yet, so thought this might be an interesting discussion. Rank the teams in your conference in offense, defense, and most improved categories. I'll do the Zeta since it's harder to judge the other conference when you don't play them. Not everything is always apparent on the scoreboards.

Best Offensive Teams:
1. Italian Stallions
2. Brighton Bears
tied 3. Rome Bulls
tied 3. Camelot Kings

Best Defensive Teams:
1. Ironton Tanks
2. Italian Stallions
3. Helsinki Hammers

Most Improved Teams
1. Helsinki Hammers
2. Chelsea Cardinals
3. Eindhoven Breakers
(Very subjective on these three, and I could probably justify a completely different three teams just as easily)

Thanks for the props to the Hammers.. Skrogz has done a great job getting the team back on track & the players on the same page.. & FWIW Skrogz has turned into a great owner to play for..

I'd have to agree with your picks to be honest.

Skrogz is beastly. Didn't he have like 29 tackles against us?

Only 26.
He is a beast, but our ROLB would be just as nasty maybe even more so at LOLB!

And I agree Scrogz is doing a fantastic job with the team.

Best Offensive Teams:
1. Whitechapel Rippers
t2. Barcelona Bulls
t2. Amsterdam Fire
3. Rotterdam Harbormasters

*I really couldnt pick a 2nd best team, so I gave it a tie score. Unfortunately we played Amsterdam in the first week of the season, but I would love to have that game back >.<

Best Defensive Teams:
1. Whitechapel Rippers
2. Massillon Grizzlies
3. Rotterdam Harbormasters

*Nothing special here, it is what it is.

Most Improved Teams
1. Madrid Hares
2. Zurich Gnomes
3. West Yorkshire Bling

*these teams made quite a few moves over the season, but Madrid is in the best position to turn things around and make a playoff run so hats off. Of all these teams though West Yorkshire scares me the most next season. Honorable mention to the Judah Lions.

I would say the above statements are pretty accurate. I wanted to elaborate on the Most Improved Teams, which I agree with. The Madrid Hares are in a great positiona after a slow start and I feel they will be the final playoff team. No disrespect to any of the other teams, but the way Madrid has really turned things on of late, leads me to that belief. Job well Done WELLSAJ82!!!

Just my opinions here....

Best Offensive Teams:
1. Italian Stallions
2. Brighton Bears
3. Camelot Kings

I don't know what kind of rocket you have shoved up the a$$ of that RB for the Stallions but he just plain old makes everyone look slow. It's pretty crazy.

Best Defensive Teams:
1. Ironton Tanks - 8 Shutouts
2. Italian Stallions - 7 Shutouts
3. Helsinki Hammers - 5 Shutouts

I don't like to vote for my own team but I will here. Irontown is scary. Stallions are scary because they run the ball so well thus their defense is well rested.

Most Improved Teams
1. Helsinki Hammers
2. Chelsea Cardinals
3. Eindhoven Breakers

Once the owner of the Hammers (me) got his head out of his ass it really started to come together. We also had a BRUTAL schedule/start to the season. The Cardinals have been steadily improving all year. the Breakers have had some bad luck but battled through it.

How is it going to finish? Your guess is as good as mine. Anything can happen really. I still feel the Stallions are the team to beat but after that the next 5 teams are "pick um". Whoever catches the breaks on the SIM is going to be in business.

Well we get our shot at the Stallions tomorrow and I believe it is going to be one helluva game.

Good luck. I'm sure there are a lot of people rooting for the Hammers to pull the upset.

Wow Rotterdam finally gets some respect, haha. Just kidding guys, we didn't mind flying under the radar. Still not quite sure what happened in the 1st round loss to Massillon, but I give them a lot of credit. They kept the ball out of our hands.

We're looking forward to next season and trying to fix the holes that seemed to cost us a little down the stretch. Good luck to all who are left!

Now I see how the Stallions became dominant. It helps when you sign 18 guys at very high levels right on the first minute of your team. I'm not knocking you Superhawk for doing it. Any of us with that much money in the game would do the same. I just was thinking to myself most of the season how you were able to draft so well so early. Now it makes more sense.

Well said, but now some of the other teams are catching up with their player's levels. Playoffs will be interesting in both conferences.....
