Week 14!!
Playoff hopes have died for many, other teams are guaranteed a spot, and a glimmer of hope exists for some living on the edge of the 8th seed.

MATCHUPS

Alpha

Knossos Mintoaurs vs Yorkshire Knights *ALPHA GAME OF THE DAY*
With Knossos assured of a playoff spot, and Yorkshire all but locked in, this could be a matchup we see in the postseason. Both teams are reeling from tough losses to playoff opposition and seek to rebound.
Prediction: Knossos 21-10
Actual: Knossos 16-15

Montcuq Beserker Troll vs Ahlen Aces
Montcuq are locked into the playoffs, and have to like their chances of getting homefield advantage as they look to win out the regular season. Ahlen are rebuilding, but can't stop the Trolls going beserk.
Prediction: Montcuq 117-0
Actual: Montcuq 117-3

Vice City Crack Whores vs Dorset Stampede
Alpha's top team take on the Stampede, looking to avenge last season's loss in the playoffs. After last week' victory over Knossos, they have to fancy their chances!
Prediction: Vice City 29-10
Actual: Vice City 22-19

Seville Naranjas vs Messina Blazers
With Messina out of the playoffs after defeat last week loss, Seville look to capitalise and hang on the coat-tails of Vice City as they chase the top spot. The Naranjas should handle the heat here.
Prediction: Seville 33-6
Actual: Seville 43-4

Black Watch vs Dublin Destroyers
Black Watch have to fancy their chances of winning out as they face a Dublin side near the bottom of the division. The Destroyer kept the score reasonable last week against Rennes, but the Watch are a difference class.
Prediction: Black Watch 76-3
Actual: Watch 53-7

Fareham Demons vs Vatican City Popes
The VCP continue to nosedive towards division A, and the Demons should show their mean streak here, clocking up a win to give them the edge in the playoff hunt.
Prediction: Fareham 111-0
Actual: Fareham 91-0

Hamburg Likedeeler vs London Royals
With both teams all but out of the playoffs, both teams play for position here. Hamburg look the stronger side, but London can be counted out.
Prediction: Hamburg 27-7
Actual: Hamburg 23-16

Rennes Corsairs vs Barcelona Razorbacks
Whilst both teams are still mathematically in the playoff picture, whoever loses this game will be out of the race for the season. This should be a closely fought game, my gut saying the teams will be separated by no more than 7 points when the 4th quarter plays out.
Prediction: Rennes 17-13
Actual: Rennes 27-3

Zeta

Stirling Crusaders vs Munchen The Fearless Lion *ZETA GAME OF THE DAY*
Stirling are gunning for the #1 seed, and face a tough Munchen side with outside hopes of making the top 4. Look for Stirling to knock Munchen down a peg.
Prediction: Stirling 24-12
Actual: Stirling 26-14

Spaniard Quebrantaguesos vs Yorkshire Rippers
The Rippers have put together a streak to move into playoff position, but face a Spaniard side with eyes on the #1 spot. Yorkshire should fight well, but are outclassed here.
Prediction: Spaniard 32-17
Actual: Spaniard 41-17

Wales Whales vs FF-FD Satellite
FF-FD have improved on last year and meet a Wales side new to Western Europe this season, relocating from SE Asia, formerly known as the New Guinea Pigs. Wales should roll here as they look to get back to winning ways after a loss to Spaniard last week.
Prediction: Wales 46-9
Actual: Wales 51-3

Bath Killer Bees v Antwerp Jokers
Bath are a hot team this season, after being the underdog surprise of the playoffs last year. Antwerp are underperforming after a good season last year - are they waiting to boost? IF they are, they should boot soon to have any chance of making the playoffs.
Prediction: Bath 20-9
Actual: Antwerp 20-17

Bergen Black Bears vs Copenhagen Armadillos
With Copenhagen's hopes of a meaningful post-season shelved for another year, they meet a Bergen team virtually guaranteed of a spot. The Bears should open up the Armadillos with ease here.
Prediction: Bergen 30-13
Actual: Bergen 36-7

Berlin Thunder vs Hjorring Rhinos
The Rhinos have gotten progressively worse as the season has gone on, and meet a Berlin team hoping to secure the #8 seed in the next few games.
Prediction: Berlin 28-9
Actual: Berlin 37-3

Lyon Loups *LFU* vs St Michael Blicas
Everyone's favourite underdogs, St Michael, kept hopes of the playoffs alive last week, and hope to jump the shark again in a tough game with Lyon, who are down to the #9 spot and hoping they make the playoffs come week 16.
Prediction: Lyon 24-14
Actual: Lyon 23-10

Turin Blue Jays vs Glasgow Manglers
The two bottom teams collide, in what could save each team from relegation. Glasgow have been showing true Scottish spirit lately, but the Blue Jays have been no cupcake either.
Prediction: Turin 17-13
Actual: Glasgow 19-13

Sorry but I think that *ZETA GAME OF THE DAY* is Stirling vs München

I'm already sick of being the game of the day. So far we're 1-2 this season in these games.

Well, had to give you a chance to even it up - if you lose, I'm doing it again the week after when we play you!

Our soon 2 be renamed Aces will do what we can 2 not lose by triple digits ever again. I would say good luck 2 Montcuq but obviously it's our side that needs a few bounces going our way 2 even make this match respectable .

hum 117-0 vs Ahlen ... if we made 50 it'd be already nice thought, even if they're rebuilding they've some good players

With no disrespect intended to Ahlen, if the Razorbacks can put 51 points on them, so can Montcuq, and then some.

Ahlen have done a great rebuilding job thus far, and I'd love them to stay up and compete next season.
