With that offense....and your QB's stats...were you worried you werent gonna get the A#8 Pro Bowl nod?

I can see running up the score if you are in a race for a spot..but you got 1 locked up...your backup QB didnt have a single pass attempt...

Guess I didnt expect you guys to go way out of your way to run it up at all...

Tough luck Skulls...your team will be much better next year.

so another hitmen suck thread... so surprising.

Everyone in the league can score 100+ on these guys but when we score 200 we suck and are poor sports. I have no idea why the backup didn't throw a pass. There was no "rub it in" option in the tactics... so I don't know what to tell ya. In the words of the great Bobby Bowden- "our job is to score, their job is to stop us".


And just a little info, our backup is better than the starter.

My point was..you outscore the good teams by quite a bit...just didnt see the need to completely demolish them....

Its like you said f it...Im gonna have my QB throw 16 TDs...and yes...there is a no rub it in...its called running it 90% of the time...to grind out the clock....

With 20plus players three deep at every position...its quite frankly like a Pro team...going deep every play..against a college team.

And the other teams NEED to score points like that...because its a tie breaker for everyone else except yourselves.

It's not their fault. Other teams just flip their rosters and run the ball. If you flip ATL's roster ... it doesn't change things much, does it?

Nope...if they ran the ball 80 times and scored 220 Points..I wouldnt say a peep..because then you would know they at least made an attempt to not rub salt in the wound....but when the best defenses in this league cant stop their passing attack..what did you think was gonna happen with the Skulls.

Didnt say a word when the beat up on Detroit by 100 points did I?

You have no idea how I set our tactics Dolf. If I could set the game to win by 1 point I would do it so everyone would love me. I give up.

last thing Dolf- You know I am not a poor sport and you know why. I would try to help anyone in the game, rival or not, if they asked. For you to imply otherwise is not right.

Some of those guys on the Skull are really cool. Their QB got ambushed by a complete prick of an owner last season...they have had to try and recruit, when recruiting is almost impossible for teams that have winning records and are established.

You took one of the highest powered offenses in ANY league...against a team that couldnt possibly sniff you..and with 60 pass attempts..you cant tell me how you game planned.

AGAIN...you had no reason to need to score as many. Tie breakers arent anything you even need.

Which is why I was really suprised to see that game man. I honestly thought you guys would try and grind it..to keep in within reason. Hey..maybe it didnt really occur to youall to tone down the gameplan..with the holidays and all...and in that case...fine.

We'll ALL take it as a lesson then. And WE do need the tie breakers...our playoff spot isnt cemented. But youll see the Ice Storm try and grind it out.

Other than that...I probably should have just kept my big mouth shut about the whole thing..I apologize to youall for makin a stink about it. I just saw those 16 TD passes...and felt bad for the Skulls. Moment of weakness..let my mouth open before my brain caught up.
