Carthaginian Horde vs. Buckeye Nation
The Nation have finished their schedule against the toughest teams in the conference. They'll finish the rest of their season facing teams from the middle to bottom half of the conference and I think they'll be able to pull off wins the rest of the way. Good luck Horde, I expect us to win in a blowout.
Horde 13, Nation 44.
Madagascar Mobsters vs. Calumet Wolverines
Hey at least there is one matchup to two of the lesser teams in the league. At least this way one of them will win... unless that dreaded tie game occurs. IMO the Wolverines are more balanced and I think they just missed a few key pieces to becoming a very good team. I'll take the Wolverines in this matchup in a close one.
Final score in favor of the Wolverines 14-20.
Malawi Pride vs. Zimbabwe Headhunters
The Pride's schedule for the rest of the way looks tough... too tough for them to win a single game. I still hope they at least pull through with a win though as I don't think they are that bad of a team. I see them putting up a fight in this game but that doesn't mean it'll be a close game all the way.
Headhunters win 10-34.
Kalahari Vikings vs. Zambia Lions
Two words, major blowout. The Lions should be able to win this game easily probably averaging just over two touchdowns a quarter. The difference between their power levels are too much for the Vikings to put up what would deem a formidable fight.
Lions win easily 13-62.
Niger Mambas vs. Mombasa Spears
The Mambas continue their tough schedule against the Spears today and I don't think they'll be able to win it. They had a key loss to the Zebras earlier this year and I think that will be the reason why they miss the playoffs this year. The Zebras should be able to have the same record if not better than the Mambas in the end.
Final score Mambas 16, Spears 24.
South African Ridgebacks vs. Cape Town Billievers
This is another case between a match of top dog versus underdog. I don't think the Billievers will win in the end but they should finish the season strong and end up in 10th or 9th place.
Ridgebacks have it close in the first half but scores often in the second half leaving the final score to be 14-34.
Nairobi Warthogs vs. Oum-Chalouba Zebras
The Zebras are my pick for being a team that will make it to the playoffs. They should win four of their next five games and either tie with the Mambas or have a better record. Since they have the tiebreaker they'll make it in the playoffs at the eight and final spot. Could be a crazy prediction but I think it's logical.
Warthogs lose to the Zebras 13-31.
Windhoek White Rhinos vs. Valla Beach Woolsheds
Game of the week anyone? This is the best matchup of the week since there isn't two top eight teams facing each other like these guys are. I expect a close one and it could go either way but I side with the home team or the team with the better defense when it comes down to close matches. In this game I'll take the Rhinos because I believe both defenses are good and the Rhinos are the home team. Good luck to both teams.
Rhinos win in the end 20-19.
Although they were quick guesses last week I still got all of them right
Lucky me eh? Good luck this week guys and I think the playoff picture will soon shape up in a few games.
