Here we go again.... Season 120. It's just amazing this game has lasted this long.
Last season, Arditi did what some people is unthinkable and beat Bier in the Championship. As we all know Bier has been on quite a bit of a run, but they're not unbeatable.
Alpha will once again be led by Arditi and Black Sea and what's better than a week one head to head battle for the early lead in the division.
Key Largo should be ranked right behind them and if 6KINGS can find some of that old magic, they could give the top two teams some fits.
Shoreline Big Gulp Kickers have made their way back to Casual Pro and should easily make the playoffs in the 4 spot. Can they make some noise? Sure, but turnovers will be a big factor in their wins and losses.
Amsterdam fresh off of a surprising playoff spot and Hollywood Hunt are both struggling to fill their rosters and will more than likely on the outside looking in come playoff time. I guess I would lean to Amsterdam finishing fifth and Hollywood bringing up the rear in Alpha.
Beta.... where to start other than Bier, who's been the class of the conference for a few seasons now..... but they can be beat.
Beta is also stacked with 5 good teams fighting for 4 playoff spots. Winning those division games are going to a premium this season and one good team will be sent down.
Ok I'm a little biased here but I'm putting last seasons Casual Pro Tourney champs next which could be a mistake with drew having two teams in Beta. I'm hoping maybe praying drew can move one of those teams to Alpha next season.
Lets go Warsaw next, just because they are new and they'll probably lose to Bier too.
For the last playoff spot, let's go with Mom over Munchen. I've got to root for Mom to come out on top because she likes it better that way..... and I have some players on the team.
But it is hard to root against Munchen as they continue to surprise me each season. For a team that I had finishing last in their first Pro season to a team that has found a way to win some very good games against the best teams in Pro and make the playoffs each season, it is hard to place them 5th. They'll probably prove me wrong again.
Lastly we have the Gladbrook Pickleballerz. While it's nice to see someone new take on the challenge of running a team. Especially starting at the AA level like I believe Bitterrooter did. At least he got rid of that old ass QB that was like 800 days old.
Good luck to everyone this season!
