Has anyone made a dot all the way to plateau with no football skills? Just 8s all the way down the right side (other than auto level) and load up the left side.

I think the continual rise in cost for each SP for athletic abilities means those numbers would be lower than we might expect at the end build, and the 8 in carrying and catching (on offense) or the 8 in tackling on defense would make that dot an athletic cripple.

BUT, its fun to riff on what MIGHT work to some degree. Like a 180 speed receiver, with 85 agility and 80 stamina and perhaps 60 catching.

Maybe with Sure Hands VA?

Fwiw... Most dots only have 1 Football skill. All O-line Block. Kickers kick, QBs throw. The entire defense only needs Tackling, although some add Catching to be fancy, but they cut back on Tackling so the SPs spent are about the same.

I don't think there's too much savings to be had. It probably wouldn't look a lot different.

I like the thought experiment though.

There are exceptions to that rule, though. A good scrambling QB will have both Throwing and Carrying. Scatbacks Carrying and Catching. A good combo TE, Blocking and Catching.
