Been tinkering with my rookie dots last two seasons. The quickest I can get to 83.5 is level 16. Anyone manage to do it by 14 or 15?

If you're okay with Intense training, you can get it to 84 by level 13 (85 if you rollover training). The problem there is that you're sacrificing about 130 BT due to not using Multi training. Not sure if the couple of points in Speed is worth the lost BT though.

I feel like intense training that early is just a bad idea. But I hadn't thought of that.

I agree, probably not worth it unless you really want to try something. I just threw it out there as an option.

Works really good for super speedster WRs/RBs

I politely disagree. I have a WR coming up that will be at 173.1 and he never trained on intense. Multi training, normal training, and light training only. Intense training has no benefit ever.

Yes, great start indeed! Its fascinating where you could go with that kind of start!

Nice build! I probably need to rethink how I build dots.

Dumb question.

How many attributes can you get to 83.5?

Depends on what your goal is for the rest of them. Most positions have 3 to 4 attributes end over 83. I think that most people only actually take 1 or 2 that high, and then stop a few others at 77 or 80. The ALGs will then do the rest of the work to get them to 85+.

To take two different builds, you have Punters and kickers with 100+ in their main, and 85+ Vision, Confidence, and Strength. Around 70 in Agility and Jumping as well. But you only really take Kicking/Punting to 83. You can usually stop the other 3 at 77 or 80, and Agility/Jumping at 68.

On the other hand, you have WRs. Speed obviously ends up high as hell (at least 100 in the traditional Speed build). Agility and Catching get to 77 or 80 (ending 90+). Vision to 68 or 73. Jumping, Stamina, and Carrying to 60.

So it comes down to what you're willing to sacrifice to take more attributes to 83. If you want to forego Agility and Jumping for the Kicker, you could probably get at least the two other Majors to 83. For the WR, you'd probably choose to sacrifice Carrying, Jumping, and a little Vision (you need the Stamina to be able to function) to get Agility and/or Catching to 83.

I wouldn't suggest doing so in either instance, but you could do it. In most instances I feel like the optimal answer to your question is 1 or 2, but you could do at least 4.
