Tired of all the players I want to offer a contract to are purposely choosing a CPU team. So it's because of the optimal way to build a player and when/how to boost, upgrading training and then saving training etc etc. It would be nice if the players benefited on a player controlled team. If that means they need to be on a snap count or play limited then can't that be available?

I understand the sentiment.

The issue has always been that some dot builders want to play more than they want to win.

Many owners would rather win, and "bench" sub par dots.

D-league is the Communism of GLB. Everyone will more or less get equal usage, regardless of "build quality" (except some builders have learned to game that system too, by doing excessive Stam)

Generally speaking, if a builder would rather be on a D-league team, you probably don't want that dot anyway.

Dotball is a team sport. It really pays off to have everyone on the same page with what their dots are supposed to do. As BB would say " do your job". Some agents just aren't interested in the Patriot Way.

I'm guilty, but often its because I want the option to delete my dot mid-season if I'm just not feeling it.

I'm much more often to sign with whoever if they send a note along with the Contract offer. I can't remember the last time I turned down a rookie offer when the owner/coords told me they wanted my dot along with sending the contract offer.

Definitely the highlighted applies to me

I will sometimes do it when I'm making a WR as especially the 1st season on human teams sometimes all they do is run the ball and I'd like to see the dot do something other than running and lifting drills similar to the combine, but I don't have a problem having my dots be a part of a system and not get stats while they are essentially used for blocking or other things also. Also I do agree with dusk as sometimes I'll want to retire the dot if I don't want to keep them anymore

Yeah, I’m guilty of that too. I avoid committing because owners get upset when you leave. I’ve promised before that my dots would stay until 79, and owners were fine at first—but when 79 rolled around, suddenly it was my fault he had to find replacements. One even told me outright it was my responsibility to find dots for him. Now I just stick to CPU teams so I don’t have to deal with that drama.

Besides, I’m a last-day booster type anyway, you don’t want my dots if you’re trying to win early.

Well lmk if any of you want to be on my team. If you want to retire your player just message me and ill replace with a CPU one so you can do that. I'm not concerned about whether you boost early, or late. Just want to get rid of CPU players on my team.

Here's my team. I need some defensive studs. I made a few but they're still low level. Send me a pm if you'd like to join. Also interested in adding a GM or O/D Coordinator with experience. This is my first team since like 12 years ago or however long I've been away from this.
