Confused and I don't want to screw up dot batch. I have 5 boosts available now before season rollover. If I use them now before season rollover do I get an additional10 boosts available in preseason of next season or do I only receive and additional 5?

What I have read tells me that if I don't use the 5 "free" boosts by day 1 of dot's season 1 they will be available to use come the start of dot's season 5. Am I understanding this correctly?

No. If you do not boost today to level six you lose those five boosts until day 160.

After rollover tonight the season changes and you will have five boosts for season 116 tomorrow

I've read we have up to day 0 of dot's 1st season to use those boosts before losing them until day 161 and they become "make up" boosts.

You get 5 boosts "Season 0" boosts to use for new dots up until S1 D0. After that point you have your 5 "Season 1 Boosts" remaining.

Most builders forgo the 5 "Season 0" boosts to use them at plateau Day 160.

Creation S0/S1 before D0 5 Boosts ---- > Optional
S1 5 boosts
S2 5 boosts
S3 5 boosts
S4 5 boosts
S5 5 boosts / 5 make up boosts if not used in S0

Thanks, that's what I assumed it was. Reading back through all the GLB threads was a chore but just wanted to make sure.

If you don’t want to auto boost tonight. Make sure to deactivate it. That’s for your free players.

how is it wrong if they're saved until day 160?

Because you could still use the 5 boosts for the next 5-6 days before day 0 when they then would be saved til 160

minor technicality

They go away until the end of the build. I was just wrong on the time frame

Can we hug it out now?

If I use only ONE of the boosts, I'll get the other 4 on Day 160, correct?
