Does anyone know why our age group has league names like 'Green' and 'Leaf'? There's normally a rationale behind the league names. For example, 'Lincoln', and 'Washington' leagues were created around Presidents Day. 'Werewolf', 'Vampire' and 'Zombie' leagues around Halloween. 'Abrams', 'Sherman', 'Patton' and 'Pershing' were created around Memorial Day.
This age group we're in was created in mid-May, so I'm guessing the names have something to do with Spring?
