Keeping for more than just the first decline season? Or just a 1-season decline wonder?
I think the consensus among the GLB legends is that Light training, and using the BTs to temp boost your primary attributes for 8 games, is the most effective use of the TPs.

Agree although on certain dots I will perm bonus SPs early on before the decline really gets going and save BTs until "more important" end of season games....I also prefer to use Temp Bonus in less games but taking max available on both Primary Atts OR when my dots matchup may benefit from something different such as VIS +5 on a JH CB

you are better off converting them to SP or added AE
you cannot temp boost in tournament games or the playoffs, so do things for your dot that will help them there
