Down the right hand side of your player profile...last option: Edit Profile/Number.

Yeah, you can click on your jersey number

Makes perfect sense right? Jersey number, career wrecking auto-boost about the same thing

Usually you can delete and remake if you catch it right away without penalty, im pretty sure.
