yeah, the dot building process was completely revamped as far as schedule, it now only takes 4 seasons (161 season days) to reach plateau. this thread has a lot of info -

https://glb.warriorgeneral.com/game/announcement.pl?id=932

Any day between day 40 and day 0 of next season are identical for building players now (except for how long you have to do your building, get signed, all that stuff, before the next season starts on day 1, obvs.)

Welcome back!

Awesome! Thank you for the link. Have been looking for that exact info. A lot to go through, has been about 70 seasons since my dots took the field.

I came back to glb after like 10 years and got excited and made a bunch of dots halfway through this season.

Am I totally screwed? Will I struggle to find teams? Should I retire all my mid season dots and create new ones?

GM sent, check player build outlines to get an idea of numbers. Feel free to ask questions about build schedules, etc

You also could create a few dots now to relearn the training and skill point placing process. Sign them to CPU Teams and retire them before next season.

Not many significant changes lately, but it's always good to keep an eye on updates. And yes, Day 41 is still the best for new players!

As for changes, if you've looked through the changelog and don't see much new, it's likely because these updates are focused on bug fixes or performance improvements. As for day 41, indeed, this day https://football-bros.org is often considered the best time for new players to start, thanks to the right balance of challenge and opportunity to get familiar with the game.
