I've been waffling about posting this, b/c anything anyone posts is immediately picked apart, but fuck it, for anyone wanting a hyper-specific set of instructions they can just follow every time without needing to modify it, here goes. I make zero claims that this is the supreme method of dot building, but I've gotten better results with it than I have ever gotten before.
This method is ONLY good for dots with 4 major attributes, and it only works exactly the way it does because of the "no training bonuses until day 4" thing that was just discussed in that other thread. This means you could follow these steps without worrying that your training gains would ever roll over accidentally due to an ill-timed training bonus. It also is designed for your ATT 1 to end up at 30% training enhancement, so if that's a deal-breaker for you, you should not use this method.
So, to recap, this method works for 4-major dots that you're good with either having the weight be min weight + 1 pound (Speedy dots) or max weight - 1 pound (Strength dots). This would generally include all the O Line dots, run-stuff DTs and DEs, and potentially pure blocking TEs and FBs. I've only included Strength dots here b/c I don't generally do my Speedy dots that light anymore, but if you do, you could adapt it.
DOT BUILDING STEPS -
1. Create your dot with either min weight +1 (Speedy) or max weight -1 (Strength).
2. Spend Skill Points in your primary attribute (either SPD or STR) to reach 25.
3. Spend remaining Skill Points on your second attribute.
4. SAVE THE 15 SP THAT YOU GET ONCE YOUR DOT'S CREATION IS COMPLETED.
5. Buy 10% training enhancement on ATT 1. Do one LIGHT train on ATT 1. Buy 20% training enhancement on ATT 1.
6. Train 9 times on intense on ATT 1. Buy 30% training enhancement on ATT 1.
7. Train 4 times on intense on ATT 1, then one time on light on ATT 1. ATT1 should be 33.9x, 96% trained.
8. Spend the 15 SP that you have banked on ATT 1, which will now be first capped at 48.9x.
9. Train 6 times on intense on ATT 1, then one time on normal on ATT1. ATT1 should now be 50.9x, 94% trained.
10. Boost three times. Spend all 18 SP on ATT 1. (ATT1 is now 2-capped at 61.4x, 94% trained).
11. Boost three times. Spend all 18 SP on STR. (ATT 1 now 3-capped at 68.9x, 94% trained).
12. Train 6 times on intense on ATT 1. That should bring you to 0 TP of your original 56 TP.
13. On day 1 of your rookie season, train 2 times on normal on ATT 1.
14. Boost two times. Spend all 12 SP on ATT 1. (ATT 1 is now 4-capped at 73.9x, 98% trained.)
15. Train 12 times on normal on ATT 1 (until day 7), or until ATT 1 is around 90% trained again.
16. IF THE DOT'S TEAM HAS A GAME ON DAY 7, 5-CAP ATT 1 BEFORE THE GAME!
17. Boost 2 times. Spend all 12 SP on ATT 1. (ATT 1 is now 6-capped at 80.9x, around 90% trained).
18. Your initial creation process is complete, thanks for attending my TED talk.

Now that ATT 1 is 6-capped, I personally move on to putting SP into the ATT 2, but you may push higher if that's your thing, I don't judge.
