1. Asau Golden Eagles: I think we can all agree RC got lucky and this is probably the last time he is ever Champion League Championship Champs. With that said, gotta place the Champion League Championship Champs #1 to remain unbiased.
2. C-Town MF'in Hood: CL-best 13-3 regular season last year and were s105 champs where Tomcic showed once again why he's once of GLB's best OC's when they obliterated War Machine.
3. Sno Cats: I realize this looks retarded since the last time Sno was in WL they went 6-10. While they still have an OC who's greatest talent is forum posting not gameplanning, the offense has a few new toys. The defense is the key here as it has gotten a major overhaul with GLB's future #1 DC dsl20 and quite a few new dots that can "tackle", since dsl20 tells me that's "important". Could these radically new ideas really catapult Sno up standings? We will see, but my unbiased prediction is yes, 100% guaranteed.
4. KC Comets: While I wish these guys were nicer to my boy Ken, gotta give credit where it's due. Craw has proven himself an elite coordinator on both sides of the ball, and their offense has been a breath of fresh air compared to the historically run-dominated WL. These guys have lost competitive playoff games against the eventual champs the last two seasons, and seem just as dangerous as anyone out there.
5. OPT: Stupid OPT only went 9-7 last year. Rumor has it RC was on vacation and in a drug induced bender half the season, which I assume is complete fact. Team still made the final 4 last year before going too conservative in the playoffs and losing 13-16 to BiA in rd2. RC is in rehab, and I've been calling him a coward via chat all off-season, so a bounce-back seems likely.
6. Johannesburg Jackals: The Pro champs come back to CL for their 2nd attempt. Their first attempt back in s105 they were the scrappy underdogs who inched in with a playoff upset. After a couple more seasons for coordinators dsl20 & Qball (who's named after the Wal-Mart rollin' rollin' rollin' smiley face ball), the rust has come off and they look to be a legit playoff contender this time around.
7. WAR MACHINE: Please don't cheat and throw games in the future, scumbags.
8. HHWC: Solid 8-8 record last year inching into the playoffs. They were the only 1of4 s106 promotee's that stuck around with a playoff bid which should be commended. Good squad and good coordinators, it'll be interesting to see what next season holds since they have the 2nd most roster turnover (as seen by chem) in CL behind the SnoCats.
9. Brothers In Arms: 8-8 record last season. It'd a bit of a paradox to have a team that narrowly lost the Champions League Championship to the Champions League Championship Champs this low, but it speaks to the extreme competitiveness of Champions League this Champions League season. I think they will be on the cusp of the final playoff spot, battling like last season.
10. SWAT: 7-9 record last season. Should be competitive as always, and will be in the hunt for the playoffs.
11. Cherokee Nation: I'm not positive but I assume these are the weakest of the 3x MSM+Steve squads. Again this is a competitive team that'll get a few wins, but I think they are on the outside looking in of tough playoff races.
12. London Exiles: Congrats to zz on the rd1 upset over Athens, and coordinating a team up to CL despite having limited time/bandwith for dotballing. I'd love to see these guys do well and be competitive against the best in the game, but I unfortunately predict they are going to have a tough season up here.
