Stumbled upon memory lane tonight and just in awe this game is still going and some of y’all I knew are still kicking around. Been more than a decade since I played but still remember some amazing times and some frustrating times. Disappointed to see my retired players gone. Strange little thing was my last dot that I played to maturity was named after and born on the day my daughter was supposed to be born that we lost. Was always a strange way I connected with her and coming on here made her live on a little bit. I know it’s just a game but y’all still playing probably feel it in some way. Bort, you mad man, thanks for memories and keeping the servers lights on.

Anyone who still kicking around that remembers me, one of the godfathers of the PWT that we all know is why Bort made the World League (Champions League now?), huge part of the Immortals organization that made APL a little less of a laughing stock, and overall just an ok dotballer who loved the game, say hi. Miss some of y’all, even the trolls.

Yeah, I'm pretty sure almost everyone still here has been around 75+ seasons. We're a bunch slow learners I guess.

I'm not sure we ever crossed paths back when the game had thousands of users, but I remember the Immortals being a bit of a pain in the ass.

Much has changed since those days. Dots are fully grown in 4 seasons now. 5 boosts per season.

Fewer users means fewer teams and leagues, no European BBB #10 leagues or whatever, but the game itself is essentially the same. You could pick it back up easily if you were interested.

Wise my man! I had an early dot on the Hedgehogs but I feel like it was something lame like a center. I’m pretty sure it was my first dot and the name was Ima Center, lol. Life is good man I can’t complain.

KoB, a dotball legend. Still burning flex I see? Appreciate the invite. Maybe I’ll watch a sim or something. Life is too busy these days (probably was back then too but insomnia kept me afloat and now I actually sleep!) but certainly cool to see how the game has evolved.

Tommy! The old Borted rushing QB that became dual threat when Bort added tagging. Was truly great to see her with an OC that did the game right. By that point, I think my burn out had set in and you were a breath of energy and fun. Always appreciated you buddy. Cool to say hi again!

The name seems familiar but seriously it’s been a decade. I was still in my 20s when I started playing this game and now I’m in my 40s lol. The Immortals were so good man until the playoffs lol. I suspect we have one of the best regular season win percentages of that era. Always lost tough sims to great teams. Early WL was so competitive and so much fun, but also a damn full time job.

Crash! Dude what’s up! Someone from our squad still kicking around? Amazing man. So many memories from the Ligers to La Tourette to Immortals. Hope you’re doing well brother!

And to everyone who expressed condolences above, I appreciate the love. I’ve checked into this game every year or two and was sad to see a server crashed and she’s gone. It was a weird feeling. It’s been more than 13 years and I know it’s kinda stupid but having her born as a dot always made me smile. RIP Anastasia Marie.
