Put this one in the "Casual Ownership" bucket. The idea is that you can be a minority owner of a D-League Team. This would be a very casual way to have fun, and for GLB2 to let you spend some extra Flex Points.

Minority Ownership
For 250/300 Flex per season you can become the Minority Owner of a D-League team. *Could also apply to a Senior League Team when those come up.

What you can do
- Customize the team name, colors, and logo just like full ownership.
- Add CPU ONLY players to fill out the roster.
-- Say you inherit a team that's missing a QB or a human QB player leaves. You would be able to add a CPU QB to the roster, ensuring it remains competitive. But still not being able to see the full build of the CPU player just like it currently is.

- Cut CPU ONLY players.
-- If a human QB joins your team you could cut the CPU QB to ensure the human gets maximum playing time.
-- You would NOT be able to cut human players. For example if you had 2 human QBs, you wouldn't be able to cut one like you could a CPU player.

What you can NOT do
- Tactics
- Playbook

This would be a very causal way for players to interact with the community. It would also be a way for players to make sure the D-League remains competitive as many D-League teams have gaping holes at certain positions when they reach Vet.

Players would be able to own any level of team and wouldn't have to start at Rookie as the playing field is always level.

Minority Ownership is meant to provide something simple, fun, light-hearted and brag worthy. "My team I have no control over can beat up your team you have no control over."

But seriously the DL is meant players that don’t want to be on a human owned team. Owning a CPU team in the DL doesn’t make sense, just wait until the last day before a season and buy a team that lands in a new league that has mostly cpu teams. But the DL isn’t meant for human owned teams, I’d say get rid of the DL and make a newbie league for first time owners would be better, so they can play vs other new owners, also getting rid of ladder games and adding 5 teams to each division to make up the 30 games. That will ensure that new owners don’t get turned off by getting beat by 50+ points

That's all fair. I guess I don't mean this as an entry to ownership style. If you want to be an owner, be an owner. This is more a slap fight for bragging rights. Without access to Tactics or the Playbook, depth chart etc you aren't really in control of anything but making sure the team has enough players. Just another way to "play" the game.

Why not allow playbook control and depth chart if you want a lite version?

You use the base tactic sets and then can put in a playbook, gives you some control without the cheese.

Basic tactics would be fine but how are new owners going too learn how to run a team if they’re restricted.

You could sure. The idea came out of just being able to fill up D-League teams. Trying to keep it as fair as possible. Because it's D-League I don't think you'd be able to have access to the depth chart at least so you can't just bury a human player.

I see you have a ton of rookie players. Why didn't you create a franchise?

Originally I wasn't going to make all those. That was just to help fill up the San Diego Heat roster which is not my team.

An option would be to make a franchise, make as many players as you want for it if you don't want to fill every position and use cpu players for the rest. You'd have to do the depth charts (which is good though; your players will be used in the spots you wanted, no superstar HB return man or something), but then you can use the default premade playbooks and tactics if you don't want to game plan or even make a default playbook or tactics.

Before franchises, I'd think this was a good idea. With franchises you can more or less do this already.
